Notes: Soo...what a week, huh? Make sure y'all eat, get some rest and don't get too deep in your own head. Do the things you like, check in on your friends. Read some soft fic. Be gentle with yourselves. One of the ways I'm being gentle with myself is not trying to get a grand 5k+ fic out for every one of these prompts. Massive props and so much admiration to those who are, that's absolutely incredible! But holy shit my brain can't do that right now lmao. I do have plans for longer fics for a handful of the prompts, but most of them will probably be shorter and not on time lol. Ah well. You’re going to be seeing a lot of this young actor in the years to come, not just because it’s confirmed that she stars in a limited series being released on the BBC this fall, but also because she has just inked a deal with Penguin Random House to narrate a series of young adult audiobooks.
Returning to the screen, The Legend of Vox Machina has long awaited its move from the page to live action. Fans of the trilogy of novels have been clamouring for months to get any information from the New Zealand sets, but director Delilah Briarwood has kept everything under lock and key. I’ve recently started working at an indie bookstore and I have to be so real I can’t fucking wait to start writing bookshop au during my bookshop shifts
I'm working at the bookshop today and inadvertently managed to get my boss to order What Doesn't Break last week and I am going to snatch that book up so fucking f a s t
Happy Waudna day y'all
Two things learned from today:
1. We will romanticize working at a tiny bookstore AFTER I learn the computer system. Holy shit.
2. The Book Distribution Gods have abandoned me, Waudna book did not arrive today
Back at the bookshop today and another two things learned:
1. After a few years in chain store retail with their irritating-at-best, maddening-at-worst music, working in the silence of museum galleries for the last almost five years is so healing. That being said, getting to listen to whatever I want while at the bookshop is healing in a different way that I wasn't expecting. Top tier sensory experience. You can't touch me, Irritated Patron, my music is playing and thus this is My Domain.
2. Waunda book has still not arrived. Apparently my boss didn't actually order it when she was showing me how to order books a couple weeks ago. The Book Distribution Gods continue to ignore me. I asked her to order it so hopefully the Book Distribution Gods smile on me by the end if the week
UPS Guy has two boxes for Bookshop that he’s gonna bring later because they’re buried in the truck

Have the Book Distribution Gods smiled upon me at last
Two boxes have arrived from the Book Distribution Gods
the fact that these need to be properly received in a specific order is the only thing keeping me from hunting for Waudna book like a rabid animal
