Is Damian possibly going back to his old costume in a few months? I thought he wouldn't because the art they showed when they announced the new Batman and Robin book still had him in the grey costume and his new car is following the grey suits color pattern.

But the epilogue of Dark Crisis had him in his Rebirth suit in Amanda Waller's vision for the future:

Which I originally though was just the artist drawing the wrong suit, happens all the time.

But today the Dawn of DC primer came out and here we have Damian drawn in his old suit yet again:

Curiously just like in Dark Crisis this was also written by Williamson and like in the first picture Amanda Waller is talking about her plans to put a stop to the hero-community.

I think I would prefer him returning to the old suit or a new suit that goes back to the Robin color pattern at least. The only thing really making the grey suit a Robin costume is the R on the chest (plus it has way too many zigzag elements for my taste and feels generally overdesigned).

I’m being cautiously optimistic if DC is planning on making Damian go back to his rebirth Robin outfit (my fav)!!

I have a criticism and before everything, I have to made clear that I don't hate this shipp, I just don't like it bu that doesn't mean that I don't want to see more development and aknowledge more things.

Nika betrayed Damian, she gave his heart to LDM and then this last one tried to kill him or something like that, but she never received any type of consequence because of that, people didn't doubt about her, Damian didn't doubt about her and that's the point I'm annoyed.

Damian is probably one of the batboys who has more trust issues, I could understand him being excited for a relationship or trying to make friends, but not even really mentioning about Flatline actions or even doubting about her is completely oc.

Not only that, even a normal person would be weird about and nlt really that trustful to that person.

My problem is that they could create more drama, tension and doubt about her and have a good characterization of Damian but they decide that everyone would trusted her just because she changes her mind about betraying him.

Is there any changes on Damian's feelings due to her actions? Does he feel hurt? Can Nika gain their trust again?

Every character that had hurt Damian in tbe past made his way to gain Damian's trust again and some of them didn't even have the completely trust, but he trusted a girl that actually betrayed him from nothing?

They could made an introspectation about his feelings about romance, they could make an instrospectation Nika's character but everything seems to be solved so easily.

And that's bland writting. Sure, the beach episode was cute, but the drama was really fake and cringy and that's a problem with the whole run.

Maybe it was the limitation and cancellation of the run but they could explored so much.

Like, when they were in Japan, they could have more adventures and even having another plot with some new more interesting villians, but they literally just went to find Nika and came back with some lacky dialogue.

The second arc was a set up for Shadow war and BvR and I can't avoid feeling dissapointed of it.

I liked the first arc, sure it has wrongs but at least we had more things, we had Ra's and Damian's interactions, we had Rose, Goliath and the rest of the siblings in one issue. We had a more positive spotlight with Talia (not perfect but at least a more positive set up to her) and good ideas.

The second arc was just dissapointed and that hurts me a lot to say because I was really excited.

Damian’s movie Merry Little Batman is NOT canceled!

It is not canceled, while yes, HBO Max/Cartoon Network/Warner Broa are canceling a lot of projects rn, Merry Little Batman is not one of them

The reason why everybody is saying so is because of the poor choice in wording and weird situation going on where they’re canceling some shows but selling others. People are assuming that they’re all being canceled, which is not the case.

So in conclusion, Merry Little Batman will be featured somewhere else that’s not HBO Max, and still in production. We will have to see who buys the movie.

Jimmy could give Jason a run for his money in the Batman tire stealing department. Considering Bruce didn’t even notice the tire, until he had already been standing in Jimmy’s room for a bit.

It bothers me a lot we can't get an Outsiders or Birds of Prey series except as short arcs (who knows if the all new BoP will return and after what we've read do we want them too...?) in a Batman anthology book, but Ghost Maker and Clownhunter can lead a Batman Inc series.

I get it it's still Batman, but you can't deny the difference Outsiders alone got when it was a true series under Hill (or the other Outsiders series before Rebirth) vs what Thomas has done in Urban Legends.

And Birds of Prey shouldn't be needing Batman to sell anyway. It's bad enough the current team literally has nothing to do with that name, they are just using it for brand despite it having no point in the story, but they don't believe in the BoP brand enough unless it's in a Batman book. The fuck? It's not Batman's team. Y'all so fucking scared of BabsOracle you're using her as a love interest in one series and a momfriend in another. Oracle is a goddamn superhero with her own team. Black Canary deserved better than being a pawn Williamson used for Deathstroke and now Dark Crisis. And who eve knows what the fuck is going on with Huntress after Tamaki leaves Tec (she wrote a good Helena, but like anyone will care about her now). And DC doesn't care about any other member, sorry Zinda and Charlie.

Birds of Prey deserve better. Outsiders deserve better.

Dick confirmed in Batman and the Outsiders (2007) #14 that the adoption went through.
