honestly I'm happy he did because in my mind she survived the lightsaber wound, Lyn helped her heal, and then they both went to the location where Barriss sent her disciples and that family which i hope is where Ahsoka is
She called herself a Jedi! Barriss seemed to have reclaimed her Jedi-ness lol! She talked fondly about her Jedi family, her Master. Recognized she was wrong, and tried to make amends! I'm genuinely so surprised and delighted at the fact they actually redeemed her, let speak fondly of the Jedi and in a sense be one again! I wasn't expecting that at all! What a delightfully pleasant surprise!!! I'm so happy!!
I'm so happy as well!! I always knew that Barriss would regret what she did back during the wrong jedi arc and if given the choice to become an inquisitor she would leave, which she did. I always imagined her leaving the Jedi to become a healer if the wrong jedi arc didn't happen but I'm glad they showed that she did eventually become a master healer. It's like they took inspiration from all my posts on here lmao. After all these years we finally got redemption for Barriss. Even in her lasts moments she helped her friend leave the darkside. They can never make me hate you Barriss Offee.

in the last episode her friend (?) stabbed her with a lightsaber, but it ultimately led to her friend leaving the empire/inquisitors. And then her friend carried her body out of a cave. I wish she's not dead, but I believe she is.
