5, 12, 13, and 40 for the WIP ask game?
Hey there! Thanks so much for the ask. (I'm counting this as Day 10 for @the-wip-project's 100 Days of Writing.)
5: Last sentence on an angst wip
You get two for this one because I'm not sure if one actually counts as angst and the other one is a collab so I am only responsible for half the angst.
"I don't delude myself into thinking I can tell any time you lie but you'll have to give it a better go than that, Donny-boy. If you want me on your side when Nan's at you, you'll tell me now."
"He's alright." The movement of her [Miranda's] lips doesn't match the timing of her words "Try to relax, Shepard. He's alright. He'll be here when it's time to wake up."
12: Favourite wip?
How do you choose between your children?I'm not really sure. A Butcher's Homecoming is up there, just because it's something for Donovan but self-contained (as opposed to the other stories in his universe which are collabs). I'm also pretty excited for the gifts I'm writing. I like writing gifts for people and especially surprising people with gifts!
13: A wip that’s self indulgent? (you can vague this)
...all of them? (Maybe that's a little too vague.) My current WIPs are things that I'm writing because they make me happy and (for some of them) as gifts. The most self-indulgent is one of these gifts, which is basically a my-OC-insert into an AU of a friend's fic. I'm really excited for it and also a very hopeful they will like it. That's all I'm going to say though because it IS a surprise.
40: What should you be writing right now that you’re excited about?
I think I'm feeling A Butcher's Homecoming. It's something that feels meaningful and attainable and that's something. A good something.
Ask me these asks, if you want!
