I heard about 999 for the first time through the internet. At first, it didn’t really strike me for too long. But after hearing about it I noticed that a local store actually had a copy of it just lying around. I actually visit that store pretty frequently, so whenever I was there, I couldn’t stop myself from glancing at the game whenever I walked past it. Then I decided to buy it one day, and I don’t want to sound cheesy but - it was one of the best purchases I had ever made. I immediately played it when I got home and oh dear - I fell in love. Personally, I really like games with interesting sets of characters, and I mostly still enjoy them even if the plot is not the best. But Zero Escape just blew my mind right from the start. It is one of those games that you constantly think and theorize about, even when you’re not playing it at that moment. I love complex storytelling, plot twists and well written, deep characters. And guess what? Zero Escape has all of that. Im super excited for the third installment, even though it makes me really sad to say goodbye to such an amazing game series. But I am very certain that it will end in a grand finale, something every ZE fan dreamed of. Thank you so so much, Uchikoshi, Aksys, and everyone who made this game happen, for this amazing experience.
And thank you to the people who who invested their time into making this project into a reality.
