Just a heads up there are protests happening in Canada, too. One took place in Montreal and turned violent after cops accused the protesters of lobbing objects at them and deemed the gathering illegal.
Black lives matter.

A protest took place in Vancouver as well with no altercation, but people are expecting the movement to gain traction.
People might not be aware, but the conservatives run under Harper passed an anti-terrorism bill Bill C-51, which is an anti protesting bill in 2015. All other political parties agreed the bill should have been scrapped and suffice to say it didn't sit well with Canadians, but instead of actually getting rid of it they're just fine-tuning it throughout the years.
To anyone who goes to protest, please be careful.
