Massive FEMALE protests all around Belarus. Belarusian women is the most powerful, strong, outstanding women in the universe! Your parents, sibling, partners, friends and kids are so proud of you!
I downloaded this from Radio Liberty in telegram. Look at the girl!
From the same Radio Liberty
even in my town!(this is not my photo, i’m sitting at home and hoping that i’ve caught flu, not covid but my aunt has it so… damn)
I’m sorry in advance, since it’s an art blog and I’m going to talk about politics again Few days ago I was scared, but now I’m angry. We literraly are not allowed to have basic human rights! Protestors here are peaceful, they don’t have any weapons and they don’t attack OMON (riot police) unless they try to protect themselves, they don’t break any public property, while OMON breaks people’s cars just for fun, while they shoot at windows of people’s homes. These peaceful protestors are getting beaten and even killed just for wanting their voices to be heard I don’t know what else I can say, since there are already plenty posts about that on tumblr if you check #belarus, and the videos and pictures will say more than I can What happens in my country isn’t normal Also, since my followers are here for arts, I will try to post my drawings soon, I currently am working on them, just slowly, because of this situation
Don't let what's happening in Belarus disappear. Tumblr almost got rid of the Black Lives Matter tag by shoving it into the politics, trump, and covid tags or putting things that weren't even tagged with black lives matter in that tag. People are being attacked and killed in Belarus because they are refusing the very obvious vote tampering, they are fighting back, don't let what's happening be forgotten.
Their internet is being blocked, please boost this and tag with Belarus and Belarus Protests in the tags!
Don't just include "politics" put "Belarus Politics" in the tag and if you're going to put in "presidential election" put "Belarus Presidential Election" otherwise it'll be lumped into Tumblrs politics tag and get smothered by all the news regarding the American election and Biden's running mate.
Belarus protests, right now (9th/10th of August 2020)

if this post gets on your feed PLEASE DONT IGNORE IT
i dont think you dont know what happens in belarus RIGHT NOW
well its A FUCKING BULLSHIT I HATE LUK*SHENKO SO FUCKIN MUCH
he LIED ABOUT VOTES FOR PRESIDENT. FOR SVETLANA TIKHANOVSKAYA, WHO WAS FROM OPPOSITION, WHOS HUSBAND WAS ARRESTED, SHE GOT 80% VOTES
aND LUKASHENKO GOT ONLY 6%
BUT HE LIED. HE SAID THAT *HE* WAS THE ONE WHO GOT 80% VOTES
AND HE IS STILL A PRESIDENT
THE RE IS A PROTESTS. THE POLICE CATCHES *EVERYONE* ON THE STREETS. THE GUY WEBT FOR A WALK WITH HIS DOG AND THEY ARRESTED HIM. THE MAN WAS ON THE WALK WITH HIS 4 YEARS OLD DAUGHTER. AND HE WAS ARRESTED FOR *NOTHING* AND THE POLICEMANS LEAVE HIS 4 YEARS OLD DAUGHTER ALONE IN THE CENTRE OF MINSK
THE EURO UNION IS WORRIED. BUT LUK*SHENKO DONT GIVE A FUCK.
AND NOW, FOR TWO FUCKING DAYS, THE WHOLE BELARUS (except those who have vpn) DONT HAVE AN ACCESS IN THE INTERNET. YESTERDAY FROM ALL THE SOCIAL MEDIA ONLY TIKTOK WORKED, BUT WHEN BRLARUSIANS STARTED TALKING ABOUT THE SITUATION IN BELARUS, TIKTOK STOPPED WORKING TOO.
TODAY, WE DIDNT HAVE ACCESS FOR *ANYTHING*. THE INTERNET DIDNT FUCKIBG WORKED. ONLY THING WE COULD CHECK - BELARUSIAN NEWS SITE.
ALL SOCIAL MEDIA, WHICH POTENTIALLY COULD *TALK* AND *SPREAD* OUR PROBLEMS WITH GOVERNMENT DONT FUCKING WORK.
AND THE WORST IS, AS I SAID FEW PARAGRAPHS AGO, THE INNOCENT PEOPLE AT THE STREETS CAN BE KILLED, ARRESTED OR JUST CAN BE BEATEN UP FOR N O T H I N G.
I DONT KNOW WHY IM TYPING THIS, BUT I HOPE THIS POST WILL SPREAD AND MORE AND MORE PEOPLE WILL KNOW IT. AND WE CAN GET LUK*SHENKO OUT OF GOVERNMENT.
im scared that i can be arrested, or something else i dont know, but i feel like i needed to write this. im just really scared.
Not sure how many people are going to see this post, but as a citizen of my country i should spread the information about the chaos happening here. Our country - Belarus - was always known as little peaceful place with similar to Russia culture. It's located in the center of Eurasia, between Russia, Ukraine and Poland. Recently there was election in our country, and by the results, our current president should have left his post. But government is faking actual election results, making our president (who already rules for around 40 years) to rule for more 5 years until the day he dies. A lot of young people don't want him as president anymore. There were giant lines of people to just vote against him. The amount of people voting this year is much bigger than any other year according to our history. A lot of actual evidence that people voted for other candidate. And yet, he won with ridiculous result of 80% against 9% of the candidate people were actually voting for.
THIS IS WHY PEOPLE GOT ANGRY AND STARTED TO PROTEST
Long story short, government completely cut off our internet so we don't share information (vpn is helping so far but disconnects a lot). Police attacked peaceful protestors, creating even more anger and hate. They beat up helpless women and arrest kids who joined protests. Thousands of people on streets for third day now are protesting for fair and free election.
2020 is truly becoming harder

Today the Belarusian people continued to protest all over the country. The OMAN and police force continued to commit violent crimes against both protesters and just citizens sitting on benches, walking home from work; young children taken and women dragged by their hair. They are hurting people who have committed no crimes and brutalizing those who are speaking against the dictatorship of Lukashenko. The OMAN and police and military have no repercussions to fear from anybody. They will be congratulated for their work by Lukashenko and this is why they are causing such unneeded damage and trauma to their people. Stanford prison experiment is at play here.
Today the senseless violence and kidnapping has increased. OMAN and the police have been smashing car windows as they pass, attacking reporters, attacking old women, detaining children, and TAKING AMBULANCES to load up the people they've been rounding up. Special forces are appearing in Belarus with live ammunition, not just rubber bullets. There was very limited content uploaded from within Belarus due to internet and cell service blockages (which as especially prevalent in populated areas such as Minsk)
Lukashenko's presidential candidate rival, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya (who is the actual recipient of the HIGH (80%) majority of the people's votes) fled the day of the elections and is still safe.
Guys I know that my blog is about the sims and the CC I make but right now I just can't be silent. It's my country. My homeland. And my people fighting for freedom. I need to post it because the world needs to know about it. Thank you for understanding.
Keep talking about Belarus!
Belarus has been a dictatorship for many, many years, but it was never this gruesome, this... real. In case you didn't know, Lukashenko has been in office since 1994, he changed the constitution to be able to do it. The elections have been widely known to be falsified for years, getting lukashenko 80% or 90% of votes each and every time, although his real support is estimated to be realistically around 3%, and it could be even lower now, since he still denies the very existence (existence, not seriousness!) of coronavirus.
On the 10th of august, another election took place. To no surprise, 3 of his main opponents have suddenly been arrested and disqualified from the election in the last weeks and, as you could expect, he won again with 80% of votes.
So people have gone to the streets. Lukashenko is apparently hiding in turkey. It's hard to organize, to communicate or to even document what's happening due to all of the internet being completely down.
Rhe police is shooting people, using tear gas and actual grenades on the masses. A cop van drove into the crowd from the behind running multiple people over. There's a lot of blood, ambulances, and possible dead, (UPDATE: one confirmed dead) though it's really impossible to know, as there are little to no news sources available in Belarus, especially with the wifi being down.
The belarussian police, or militia, is an organization working not only obviously unethically, but illegally too - people are mass-arrested without an open cause, beaten, held in arrest for days, and killed. Just yesterday a man's entire arm was ripped off in some kind of explosion. (This is not confirmed, second-hand relation). Nothing quite of this scale happened since the 90s, or possibly ever in the modern history of Belarus. Belarussians are finally demanding change, and really, what can the police do against a whole nation?
I wish I could reffer everyone to some kind of petition, charity organization, anything, but the events are so current that it's hard for me to say how people from other countries could possibly help. All I can do is raise a little awareness of what's happening, so please, keep reading, keep yourselves updated and informed and don't forget belarus.
Guys it's not a joke. It's real. Pray for us please.
Belarus grandpa is not having any of this shit anymore.
80% against
americans will loose their minds if someones not talking about black lives matter but will promptly ignore other countries' problems and calls for help 😌
