this is criminal.
I'm genuinely considering selling my current phone and getting a flip-phone.
I already listen to music on an mp3 player and I can access all of the important social medias (aka Tumblr and YouTube for entertainment that doesn't fry my brain, and Snap and Insta to talk to my friends and family) on my laptop. I can use my watch as an alarm, a timer and a watchclock. I can use an actual calculator instead of my phone's calculator. I can write things down in a notebook instead of my notes app. I can take photos and videos on my digital camera.
I don't need my phone except for making calls and sending messages. The only other stuff on it is social media, ai apps, and unnecessary games that are all rotting my brain and attention span. I don't need it, it's only dragging me down.
The next step is a flip-phone.
i don't know why but today was an eye opener for me. i've just come to the great, groundbreaking realisation that i never meant anything to some people. i was just there, a replacement for what they had in the past. it was either that or just someone they settled with because they couldn't have who they truly wanted. was i the other woman ???
