why is blood magic all about demon summoning and stuff? why dont they ever have you like, cure poisons by purging them from your bloodstream, or keeping people stable after their heart stops by manually circulating the blood? theres so much you can do with blood magic in general and especially as a healing element. i asked this out of the blue but you're like the one person i follow thats all about this stuff
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! THAT’S WHAT blood magic should be all about! Very visceral upclose personal biology-fucking magic. Magic that knows and requires pain in order to mend and fix problems. Magic that harnesses suffering in order to redirect it and alleviate victims. Magic that would be SO freaking awesomely rooted in early medicine and theories surrounding infection and illness. It’d be like… the anti religious, anti-miasma anti-”evil is what causes disease” approach to early medicine. It’d be awesome ;u;
