I love how with Del specifically they could have easily veered horribly and made her into a “i’m not like other girls” type of girl character. But they didn’t.  They didn’t do that in the slightest, and my relief is palpable.

Not only am i relieved, i’m ecstatic, because this series does ladies well. Every single woman in this goddamn show has a gigantic personality.  Every woman is a character.  Women aren’t pitted against other women for male attention, women aren’t pitted against woman-hood nor are they set up to demonize anything feminine, women are just great characters in this show. It’s fucking sad how something seemingly so simple needs to be applauded, but that’s the timeline we’re in.
