I watched this episode and my mom was in the room and it took every fiber of my being to stay quiet. In my head I was swooning like TFF LOOK AT THIS MAN😍🤤😍🤤😍🤤😍🤤😍

To everyone who thinks Trolls movies are "kiddie fare".

  • First movie dealt with bereavement at a young age and the consequences of it. Namely, reclusion and hypervigilantism.
  • It also dealt with general trauma and mental health recovery.
  • There's also that lovely ritual genocide, the discussion of harmful traditions and the pursuit of happiness.
  • Not to mention that the Bergens eat the trolls alive. Not 'drain their energies' or something like that. Actual eating them alive.
  • Second film dealt with diversity, cultural assimilation and appropiation, and colonialism.
  • It also dealt with the nature of leadership, what's good and bad authority.
  • And also all that black comedy. Everything trying to kill the peppy protagonist? A guy knocking down a casket and the corpse rolling over? Said peppy protagonist thinking a bergen is going to behead her when she goes to rescue her people? A worm-thingy actually meeting its equivalent of God?

Whoever tells you this is just for kids is a liar and a fool.

Also, regardless of the themes, you should like whatever you want. Plus, they're stories with solid plots, valid messages, great character and background designs, neat character development and sweet music.
