Canada won something in football/soccer! Canada never wins anything in football!
Those girls are heroes, every single one of them. Tiny little Diana Matheson...what a g! From the very beginning of the match, I was pulling for her to get a goal, because she was on fire. And she did!!! McLeod, Scott, Schmidt, Tancredi, Wilkinson, Nault, Sinclair, everyone...pulling through the match until the final minutes. Just...ugh. And the things John Herdman has done for this team in the last year!
They started the match tired but they fought through it. They made it! So proud of you girls!
And a round applause to Les Bleues. So close to greatness

Canada played a strong game, nonetheless, and to be able to match their play with the US is impressive in itself. Hopefully they can keep their chins up for the bronze medal match. They definitely have it in them to win!
