I just have a silly sketch of my Tauren Warrior, Khaleo, for you rad people atm BUT, I can assure you I am totally working on stuff that I can’t wait to post! My updates have been pretty sparse since FFIX Week because, well, I found out I probably need glasses and I’m trying to take it easy on my eyes in the meantime and not overdo it. I’m working on a bunch of cool stuff that I can’t talk about rn, (and some that I can, but actual work takes precedence!) but I hope that soon I can finally share that with you!

I think this scene was the perfect way to top the game off. Zidane is everyone’s rock, everyone’s shoulder to cry on; he’s everyone’s teacher and generous benefactor, without any deep, tragically fucked-up reason. Just because he believes in being a good person, to have purpose. 

For everyone to believe he was gone, and then be reunited ages later, with no one suspect. I love this character.

What do you say to a child who, as the last known member of her kind with no family left to speak of, lost her only friend? 

This was a really tough decision. There are so many comical, rousing, humbling, tragic scenes in FFIX it’s so difficult to choose any single moment. I think Eiko losing Mog stayed with me because she intervenes in battle in once in a while to land a Terra Homing totally out of the blue; it kind of gives you solace knowing she’s still watching over Eiko.

Freya Crescent was basically my first childhood crush? That’s not even a joke, I thought she was genuinely the coolest. I know she was broody, and I wasn’t 100% behind her arc in the story (the one with the boyfriend), but I can’t help that a deep, deep part of me finds something about Dragoons incredibly sexy.
