so ever since @starlightshine17 brought up a good point yesterday, i decided to try and find some more pics of Zayn wearing the pink floyd “dark side of the moon” shirt. Might not be a statement, but that’s not really the point. The point is that it is treated as a statement with Louis wearing the same shirt as Zayn in the top two pics (zouis reunion obvs). They both could very well just be wearing it because it’s an iconic album and shirt, or it could be a statement because of the rainbow. Who knows. These pics of Zayn above are from the take me home tour in 2013, and Louis is always credited as the “first member” of ot5 to wear a rainbow shirt, even harry wore a similar shirt in 2012 (obviously hes done a lot more obvious gestures since then, but i thought i would point it out okay?), So yeah, big props to Louis for wearing the skull hand rainbow shirt, and the apple logo shirt both in 2014, and i’m not trying to discredit him because that was awesome! But maybe we should treat similar gestures done by Zayn (or liam or whoever) as possible statements as well? 

I know a lot of you guys don’t look into Zayn’s situation, and don’t really see there being a chance of him being queer, but if you have time to go into Harry and Louis’ and follow them extensively, then you have time to go into Zayn’s (and liam) as well. (even just a little bit)

*Also* throwback to earlier this year because it didn’t get that much attention: Zayn wore an “i’m with you” bracelet and a rainbow bracelet during a pap walk (and a photoshoot as well, not pictured) and some of the proceeds went to an nyc lgbt+ charity!
