I really wish that people would stop requesting for kpop idols to speak English.

Let's talk about something.

There's a tiktok going around about Lee Know having a mark on his neck. Someone came to the conclusion that Han gave Lee Know a hickey, and then someone asked Han if they're sleeping together.

First of all, no. Just no. Whatever they do in private IS NOT anyone's business. They're human, and you can't ask things like that. Keep this shit up and they're going to end up distancing themselves like Felix and Hyunjin did.

Second, if you're the "Stay" that asked that or have ever asked them personal questions like this, shame on you. Shame on you for jumping to conclusions, and shame on you for prying into their personal lives.

Third, THEY'RE STRANGERS TO US. You wouldn't ask the cashier at your local grocery store if they're sleeping with anyone, would you? No? Then why ask an idol?

I love Minsung just as much as anyone else does, but it is UNCALLED FOR to push them and pry like this. They're entitled to their privacy. It doesn't matter what they do behind closed doors. It's not our business. In my opinion, you aren't true Stay if you can't be a decent human and respect their boundries.

If you're the "fan" that assumed it's a hickey left by Han, shame on you.

If you're the "fan" that asked Han if they're sleeping together, SHAME ON YOU.

Edit: it doesn't matter if the question about sleeping together was meant innocently or not. It doesn't matter if they meant sex or cuddling or whatever. It still make Han uncomfortable, and IT'S STILL NOT OUR BUSINESS.

I'm just gonna openly ask for help, I don't know what else to do 😭

So I've been trying to learn Korean for the past 6-7 months and all I have to show for it are a few words I have memorized and some grammar. It's sad, honestly. I do a little bit every day but it seems like I have to dedicate HOURS a day for this. Ugh.

ANYWAY, I'm looking for native speakers or non-native speakers that are fluent that would maybe be able to help me get comfortable using what I've learned (and what I'm going to learn) in conversation. I could pay for a tutor but your girl has bills to pay 🥴

So, I'd like to make some friends and maybe have those friends help me out of the kindness of their hearts 🥹 I've tried several different apps to try to connect with people but my attempts are futile. I'm going to try on here since tumblr has such a huge global reach and so many nice people (most of them, anyway). I could sit here and translate from my textbook all day but it's not going to help me much if I want to learn to have conversations with people.

Let's talk about Chan's Insta live for a second

I'm rather new to being a fan but I've been a fan long enough to know the do's and don't's. There were a few things that were said in the comments that I feel like we need to talk about as a fanbase. I'm not here to fight anyone so I'll be ignoring rude comments. If anyone wants to have a mature, respectful discussion I'll gladly participate.

1. Asking kpop idols to speak English - stop it.

It's not an idol's responsibility to make sure you can understand them. If they want to speak English they will, and if they don't then they won't. Simple as that. If you want to understand what they're saying then learn Korean. They give us so much of themselves, and so much of their time and effort. Give back to them a little bit and learn their language if you're so pressed about understanding them instead of just enjoying the live as a whole.

2. What's the point of bringing up Chan's Room?

We don't know why he had to stop it and I don't see a reason to bring it up in his insta live. I've looked everywhere on why Chan's Room stopped. It could've been because they were too busy, or it could've been because of JYPE. We don't know. Either way, I still don't feel that it was right that it was brought up over and over again. Even if he didn't see the comments it still could've been a soft spot for him. If he doesn't bring it up, then it's probably not a good idea for us to bring it up.

3. IDOLS ARE HUMAN. PLEASE RESPECT THEM.

Listen, I'm just as feral for every member of Stray Kids as the rest of y'all. The Rizz Competition that Chris participated in isn't something I have a problem with (wouldnt really matter if i did anyway). My problem is with innapropriate, immature, and disrespectful comments that aren't warranted. This isn't strictly referring to Chan's live, this could be literally ANYTHING innapropriate, immature, or disrespectful that's said to an idol. They're human. Be respectful. Like I said, I'm feral for these men, but I know how to be respectful. It's not hard.
