Freya progress!!! I’m working on finishing her Fatebreaker set for the winter season so I can maybe get photos in the snow?

The gambeson has been a stupid amount of math and experimenting to get the panels to overlay—it took five mockups before I was happy with the silhouette. The vest is made of a red leather hide I got in Morocco some years ago that I’ve been sitting on for the right project. Every panel is hand stitched with calf lace with the exception of the back center seams—that felt too risky somehow. 😅 The last image is a comparison of the in game stitching, which I think I managed to mimic.

Still lots to do but I’ve been really enjoying working on this one.

Long time no WIP post. I slowly began chipping away at a Marcille dress back in June and am just about done with the sewing bits. I have a lot of work to do in terms of accessories and props but it’s been nice working on something that isn’t as big or complicated as previous builds.

RCCC was this last weekend and I had the chance to work with multiple incredible photographers. I wanted to start by sharing some taken by StarsAndSwords.jpg over on Instagram.

I worked on this Hannah Alexander version of Yennefer for about 3 months and am really happy with how it turned out. The sleeves have about 38 yards of pearl trim I hand tacked in addition to some 200 rhinestones I sewed down. More photos to come!

Making steady progress on Yennefer! I’m really excited to wear her next month. 🥰

Again: it wouldn’t be my cosplay tumblr unless I disappeared for several weeks then came back with a WIP dump. This time we’re taking a break from Eivor and Freya to make a @hannahalexanderartwork version of Yennefer!

The corset is constructed with velvet and all the trim on the bodice and sleeve ribbons is hand tacked down. I think the sleeves are honestly the majority of the work on this thing. Excited to move on to the rest of the costume!

Finished the hand embroidery on my Eivor tunic. Can’t wait for this to be mostly covered up by the rest of the costume. 💀

LONG TIME NO SEE TUMBLR. I have a lot of costume-related updates but I wanted to share one of the beautiful photos my good friend Abby took of my Plain Doll costume! 🤘

Trying to tackle my Valkyrie Mercy costume for PAX. I made her shirt and skirt into a dress to save on time though I guess you could argue this was just as time consuming.

We’re getting there. Probably not gonna have time to make a scabbard for Oathkeeper at this rate but hey we’ll see.

COSPLAY FRIENDS: I just found this app called Dress Measurements that’s super helpful. It lets you create a profile with specialized body measurements you can keep on hand. Reblog to save a life.

I discovered I bought the wrong color roses for her bonnet. >:| Also bonnets are not fun to make.
