My fingers are a charred mess so you're gonna look at an excessive number of photos of this pauldron. I have to do a second one and I kinda wanna die.
Test fit of Ciri sans lacing on the shirt whoops. There are a lot of things I want to eventually fix but I def gotta trim down that tabard.
The details on this Ciri costume both give me life and are killing me. Wish me luck in finishing by next Saturday.
Hey look it's some cosplay progress. Ciri's been weirdly difficult for me to finish haha jk it's because every day it's like 100 outside and I want to DIE. Anyway my good friend @arthurtwosheds is AMAZING and actually knit that chainmail vest. Also I burned my hands on worbla I hate this hobby bye.
Boring sewing progress that no one but me cares about post: I ended up remaking the blue vest from scratch tonight because I was really unhappy with the fit (see above) and the end result was worth it. I have the collar to sew down and I can actually start to wrap this up.
I've been busting my butt to finish Ciri and her ten thousand vests. I am really over sewing vests. I need to finish tacking down the lining on this blue vest before I make the black one that goes over it. THEN A CHAINMAIL VEST YAY. 🔪🙃
Surprise I'm making alt Ciri.
Finally back to working on Ciri after a year of blowing it off. I'm planning on actually having her done for RCCC this year. I tackled the ridiculous bun today--probably would have been 9000x easier if I hadn't bought a long wig to start but here we are. Gotta do some extra trimming still but I want to get better with wigs this year.
Giant WIP post from the last two large projects I placed on hold due to time: Isabeau from The Order: 1886 and Ciri from The Witcher 3. The former is certainly a passion project as I never really tacked a due date on it and I keep redoing things I hate. I had hoped to finish Ciri before Rose City this year but real life obligations took up too much of my time, so I will likely finish her for Emerald City.
