POV - Your kid left to become a Jedi and then they made you be the Manda’lor.
I realize that this implies that the Mandalorian throne room has a dog door. And I would argue that probably it should. The Manda’lor should have a dog. I stand by this.
For anyone who does not know, this is from a quote originally taken from Lilo and Stitch. Thank you to @leorizanzel, who was the first one to start up what became a fantastic conversation about the parallels between The Mandalorian and Lilo and Stitch.

Dank Farrik Drabble #7
This week’s optional theme for the @dankfarrikdrabbles game is Back to School! I rolled Blanket/Cheerfulness, and I totally blame @red-velvet-panda for the result.

Grogu was going back to Master Luke’s academy tomorrow. The holidays had been great and they’d gone to see all their friends: Cara and Greef, Omera and Winta, Fennec and Boba, Ahsoka and Bo, and even Peli, who’d tickled his belly until he begged for mercy before they flew off in his dad’s new ship. The one she said was a ‘vast improvement’ from the Razor Crest. But Grogu still missed their first home, and he could tell his dad did too.
He was happy about going back to school and seeing all his friends, but he also wished they could travel together for just a little bit longer. There were many places they hadn’t seen yet, he was sure of it. Especially since today was all about laundry and cleaning and packing and he hated those things.
But dad said he should help, so that was what he was doing, putting dirty clothes in the washing machine. He liked the washing machine. He could sit in front of it and look at his clothes go round, and round, and round, and...
Oh, that was his favorite blanket! A good thing it was going in the wash, he wanted to have it with him tomorrow when he had to say goodbye. It would make things less sad. This particular shade of red was his favorite color, and he wasn’t sure why dad had looked at him a little strangely when he’d requested it from Omera, who could knit anything he wanted, but he absolutely adored it.
And he could even tie it around his neck and pretend he had a cape, like dad. Look dad, I’m flying! But dad was looking down at him, arms akimbo, his left eyebrow doing that thing it did when he wasn’t very pleased, so Grogu untied the red blanket from his neck and put it in the washing machine with the rest of his clothes. He would just have to sit down and look at the red blanket go round, and round, and round, and round, and that was a pretty fun game, too.
