The Judge has stopped The Onion from Buying Info Wars, with no money, [they tried to win an auction with a promise to pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today] until he can do an inquiry.
This is gonna be a subjective statement, but...
Alex Jones isn’t as crazy as I thought he was.
I’m not saying I believe the out-there things he’s said, [Nor am I saying I’m sure he does himself] but after seeing a few interviews of him, I’m just saying he believes many more objective truths than I thought he did, and works with a somewhat more functioning rationality than I thought he had. Which is not how I’d perceived him before at all. From clips.
I’ve often stated that I thought Jones was not a conservative, but a wackadoodle. And it is only my allegiance to the truth that compels me to admit, he seems to earnestly hold some conservative views. Any such admission is of course just another sword in the hand of an enemy, who care’s nothing about ethical conduct.
You could compare/contrast Jones with Michael Savage who’s clearly a smart guy who does his own thing and says screw the mainstream, and Jones isn’t as smart, Jones may have more ‘knowledge’ [most of which is hypothetical/theoretical & demonstrably absurd/false] and Jones says screw the mainstream a lot louder, but they’re marginally within the same scope as to be comparable, not equated, comparable. Contrastable & comparable. Dr. Savage would be pissed to read that, but it’s true.
Jones was always the lizardman alien guy to me, but he’s clearly [clear to me now] doing a thing where he suspends disbelief to entertain ideas to entertain an audience, & to play with ideas and reacts to them so as to put on a show. He probably kinda believes a lot of them but is not a 100% wackadoodle. I kinda thought he was 200% wackadoodle. Based on clips.
But it is clear to me he turned on the rant on Crowder. [Remember when Piccolo fused with Kami? “I can do this, I feel great!”] I’m not trying to say Jones is a troll like Fuentes, but it is similar to see him in control of his inner black pastor--turning it off and on, in how its observable in the way I can tell Fuentes is a troll. I suppose Fuentes is simultaneously more and less subtle from what I’ve seen, literally chuckling on video at how stupid your own statements are & at how you’re going to rile up the ‘they’ crowd.
I almost want to compare Jones to Beck, but no leftist would ever be able to parse anything like the truth from that comparison, because they’d only entertain the idea of comparison in order to dismiss the individuals mutually; as an excuse not to think, same as always. But Beck, esp. in his FN days, is/was an entertainer, and he’s turning on his showmanship, & Jones is turning on his showmanship in a very similar way. But you can tell in these interviews Jones is speaking rationally and sorta normally, sometimes more than others, and then he sees an opening and turns on the ole black pastor hellfire speechifying. And then he finishes up and talks normally.
Beck was always doing info-tainement, where the star of the show was the facts.
Jones is spouting rhetoric, which can include lines like ‘turning the frogs gay’ which is a sensationalizing of a factual thing, or “The globalists eating babies’ which is a sensationalizing of a mostly false thing. They worship Moloch different nowadays prolly.
“They’re setting a precedent to steal your rights“-Alex Jones
