Eternity- Titles

before next

warnings; dehumanization

Theodore didn’t understand this man's insistence on a new name. Granted, he didn’t understand most of the things about them, but he hoped it would come with time. For now he handed his book filled with names in three different languages to the human, hoping that they spoke at least one.

After a while of looking at the book, the human handed it back to Theodore and spoke, “I like the name Bo?” Theodore nodded.

“Ok! Well then it’s very nice to meet you Bo.” The human looked confused but they didn’t say anything, and Theodore wasn’t about to pry. “Did the nurses treat you kindly?”

“Yes sir.”

“Oh, that’s ok, you don’t have to call me ‘sir’.” the human looked confused again, so he added; “it’s too formal.”

“What name do you prefer me to call you?”

“Just Theodore is fine.”

“Ok.” they looked uncomfortable, and Theodore understood. Most people were uncomfortable when he asked them not to use titles. They were scared of him. Of course they were, his uncle was a force to be reckoned with and people assumed the same of him.

He heard Bo shift and blinked. Had he been glaring? Hopefully not, he was trying to seem as kind as possible to calm down the humans nerves. Sadly it didn’t seem to be helping.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Amir didn’t know how to react to this master. The questions didn’t seem to be tricks, so he answered them quickly and honestly. But they didn’t want him to use titles. That was strange for a master, especially one of their status.

Hopefully they will be kind. Lord knows he needed a break.

this is the end of chapter one! I hope you enjoyed reading it so far.

Eternity- Names

warnings; noncon touch, anxiety, touch aversion, carewhumper

Amir woke up to touch. Gentle touch, no doubt, but touch nonetheless. And touch was dangerous. Maybe if he leaned into it his master would get bored and leave him alone?

No, the hand stayed. But his master made a contented noise so he was clearly doing something right. The hand finally went away and he could sleep again. But no, now he wawa awake. Now he had to stay alert.

He opened his eyes and found his master working on a stack of paperwork next to him. Had he moved his office into this tiny room to be with amir? Why? Wasn't he just a nuisance?

His master turned towards him, and finally registered that he was awake, “Good morning! How did you sleep?”

“Fine, sir. Thank you for asking,” he really didn’t want to talk right now, but he knew better than to be rude.

“Good. I'm glad you got some rest. You seemed like you needed it.” Why would his master care?

All he could do was I've a weak nod in response.

“I realized while you were asleep I never got your name. Would you like to tell me?” A choice. An option to keep his identity, or hide behind a new one. No, this master would not get his name.

“You can call me whatever you’d like sir.”

“I don’t want to call you anything, I want to know how you’d prefer to be addressed.” no. no this was a trick. Amir knew better than to trust this.

“Most of my masters named me sir.”

“Ok, but I'd prefer if you picked the name. I’d feel weird choosing your name for you.” Why? He was Amris' master after all.

Eternity- conclusions

warnings; mentions of suicide, isolation, social abuse, hints at physical abuse

Thodore felt sick to his stomach. The human expected to be hurt. They had asked to sleep after the ordeal today. He couldn’t believe someone would hurt them like that. It wasn’t fair. They should be their own person, exploring the world and finding out who they were. He forgot to ask for their name…

Sinking down into the chair, Theodore let out a sigh. Hopefully now that he was in charge of their care the human could get better. It was important that they get better, they needed to have some hope. They had made it this far. Theodore needed to find a trainer. He didn’t want to use his uncles, ike was a cruel and vindictive man. The last time Theodore had let him train a concubine, said concubine had killed herself. And Theodore would not let that happen again.

So now he would have to recruit a new trainer, which was a feat within itself. Trainers were finicky, if you didn't like their personality it was almost a guarantee you wouldn’t like their training style, and it was hard to find someone Theodore did like.

Everyone he knew treated him like a child, or groveled in front of him. He had had very few friends in his lifetime, and it was getting harder and harder to make them. Especially because every time he made a new friend his uncle would draft them into the army. Now he was considered taboo.

Hopefully being in Theodore's harem would protect the human. He really didn’t want to see them hurt because of who Theodore was. It wouldn’t be fair to them, they deserved better.

They gently stirred in their sleep, and Theodore set a hand on their head, running his thumb along the bridge of their nose. He would protect them, no matter what.

Eternity- Sleep

warnings; medical whump, confused whumpee, mentions of sleep deprivation

Amir tried to get comfortable on the stretcher, but it was to no avail. He dreaded returning to his new, confusing, master. They hadn't left his side throughout the entire process of Amir getting taken out of the fort. No matter how much he creamed and thrashed,n they stuck by his side to hold his hand.

He didn’t understand it. At first he thought that the hand would wander, but it stayed in his hand the entire time. He appreciated it’s warmth. Sneherr had left him freezing cold most nights so a bit of warmth was a welcome change. He just hoped it would stay.

He cried out as the nurses moved him from the stretcher to a wooden tub. His feet hurt so bad, his mind was in a haze while they cleaned and dressed him,, and he was barely conscious when they laid him onto the bed. He just wanted to sleep. He was so tired.

Amir heard his new master talking to him, but he didn’t recognize the language.

“I’m sorry sir, I can’t understand you.” he tried his best to be polite, and he didn't want to get in trouble. He wanted the chance to sleep.

“That’s alright, I speak North Common. I asked how you were feeling after the bath.” Amir flinched, thinking they would be upset, before relaxing when they weren’t.

“I am very tried sir, am I allowed to sleep?” he heard a sigh, and instinctively flinched again.

“Of course. I’ll be here when you wake up.”

“Yes sir, of course.” he wasn’t thrilled about being around this master all the time, but he knew that he didn’t get a choice.

Amir settled into the blankets around him, and fell into a restless sleep.

Eternity- confrontation

warnings; medical whump, noncon mentioned, disassociation, verbal abuse

Theodore watched as the medical team tried to get the human off of the bed. He felt completely helpless, and that wasn’t a feeling he was keen towards.

He wanted to help the medical team hold down the human, but not only would that reveal his magical capabilities but it would also harm the very little trust the human gave him. And he needed all the trust he could get.

The medics finally got the human onto a stretcher and covered up so Theodore walked over. They had a completely spaced out look; and he knew they weren’t processing what was happening, and most likely wouldn’t register that he was there, but it had helped himself in situations like this to have a friend and he wanted to be that for them. They seemed to need one.

Theodore walked over to the human and gently held their hand. They flinched at first, but didn’t try to pull away, so he started rubbing circles in their palm. The human seemed to calm down after he came over, so he stayed with them up until the medical tent.

“I’m so sorry sir, but we need to get him clean and assess his wounds which is a private matter.” the nurse looked scared to tell him. Like he might argue.

“Of course. Is there anywhere I can go to wait?” The nurse nodded and led him to a small room with a bed and chair.

“This is the room that’s ready for the human after we finish with his examinations. If you’d like to stay here you’re welcome to.” He nodded and sat down in the small chair.

“Thank you.”

“Of course sir.” she gave a short bow and left the room. Once she was gone theodore set up some paperwork and started on the job his uncles had given him.

A couple of hours later Theodore heard his Uncle storming through the medical area. He knew that the king would be mad but he didn’t realize just how upset he’d be. His uncle got upset quite often, and would fly into a rage and hit or threw Theodore around until it passed. Theodore hoped that his uncle wasn’t that mad. It might scare the human if they came back too early.

His uncle walked into the room and he gave the appropriate bow. Theodore was barely acknowledged as his uncle looked around.

“What the fuck do you think you’re doing?” the room shook as his uncle turned and yelled.

“Doing paperwork.” said paperwork was strewn all around the chair.

“That wasn’t my question,” his uncle said sternly, suddenly completely still and staring at theodore.

“I am helping a human who needs a friend.”

“That’s not acceptable, you are a prince, you have servants, advisers, and a harem. Not friends.”

“Fine! Then he;s a part of my harem." Theodore's uncle glared at him, and Theodore kew he was in trouble.

“If you step one foot out of line I will have him taken from you in an instant, am I understood?”

“Yes sir.” theodore breathed a sigh of relief. Once the human was healed he’d have them trained in martial arts. That would help prevent the kings threats. And he’s have them fitted with a pair of stilts to help them walk without pain. Yes, that would work nicely.

Eternity- Panic

warnings; implied noncon, past torture, panic, anxiety, self deprecation, this is a heavy one so take care of yourself!

Amir flinched when the largest of the soldiers spoke. They were so loud against Amir's headache and he just wanted them to finish whatever they were doing and leave. Hopefully they would leave. Sneherr preferred to tell him what was about to happen personally so he could watch Amir's face. He had absolutely been playing up the expressions of horror to try to lower the punishments, and it had worked fairly well! He was alive at least.

There was no telling what the guards would do. Some of them enjoyed it when he was pathetic, and others thought it was annoying. If these guards decided to hurt him he’d have no way of knowing what to do. That was the worst part of all of this; the fact that he would be completely at their mercy with no way of doing the correct thing.

He was brought out of his thoughts when the largest guard approached him. The largest guard approached him. Now that he was looking closer they didn’t actually look like a guard. They looked more grandiose, like a prince. The fabrics they were wearing were expensive, and clean. And they were wearing jewelry. Jewelry Amir could never dream of affording. On top of that they seemed to have very large leathery wings. He couldn’t remember which species had wings besides…

Oh no. This was a sand devil royal. They were known to be the most ruthless and aggressive species known. He couldn’t believe that fate would treat him like this. Plus he didn't, no he couldn’t, make it through the training of another master. His mind was too fragile, he’d break. He hoped this royal would see that and let him rot in a room somewhere. It would be a kinder fate.

He closed his eyes as the royal came even closer. He couldn’t stand to watch what he knew was about to happen. It was too painful, too terrifying. He wasn’t ready to find out what this new master liked. What punishments they’d give. What the rewards will be. He wasn’t prepared, and he didn;t know if he ever would be.

A hand grazed Amir’s ear, and he whimpered. It wasn’t fair. He should have been a blacksmith's son. He should have grown up learning how to make the very weapons his masters carried. Instead he had been forced to be a bed warmer; someone to be used, and opened, and broken until he was so pliable that he was boring and he was thrown to the guards. He couldn’t handle that fate, he’d rather die.

Amir realized that the royal was talking to him. He was so lost in thought that the words sounded like gibberish, and at this point he didn’t care. Whatever they were going to do to him he only hoped it would be quick.

Someone was picking him up and he saw red. He would not go quietly, he couldn't, it wasn't his nature.

He flailed as they went through the motions of moving him onto a stretcher. He didn't know where they were going to take him, and he honestly didn’t want to know. Whatever it was it would be torture whether ethe slow and gentle kind of the forceful and voilent kind. It was all he was good for.

This one was the hardest to write so far, I put so much of my own anxiety into it

Eternity- Direct Orders

warning- gore, disassociation

Theodore stared at the human sprawled out on the bed. They were naked, and their feet looked mauled. He wasn't sure if they could be healed, especially if they were infected. He wasn't educated enough in wound care to tell.

He couldn't believe that Sneherr would do something that horrific. Theodore had gone through the history books and had seen many different torture techniques, but none came close to this.

Theodore needed to get the human some help. Now. His magic flared up and he let out a puff of smoke.

“Easy sir. He’ll be scared of you if you go in too hot." Theodore took a breath. Cecil was right, he needed to keep his cool. He couldn’t just go in with swords drawn because the human may think that it was directed towards them and that would make the whole situation so much worse. He needed to stay calm and treat the human very very carefully.

Theodore looked at their face and knew the feeling very well. They were trying to hide in plain sight, and Theodore wanted nothing more than to let them, but it wasn’t an option right now. They needed medical attention and the support team wasn’t here and so he was the only one who would call them.at least he thought he was. Cecil didn’t seem to be as horrified and was standing by the door with a look of boredom on his face.

“Call the medical team Cecil, please.” Theodoere tried to use an authoritative voice, but it was clearly shaking.

“They will get here eventually sir.”” Cecil clearly looked like he thought Theodore was overreacting, but from the look on the human's face alone, he knew he wasn’t.

“This is urgent.” Theodore used as much force in his voice as he could muster. He knew Cecil would push back on his order but complete disobedience was out of the question. He was the crowned prince and he was tired of not being treated as such.

please let me know what you think of this!

Eternity- the discovery

Warning- mentions of physical abuse, implied noncon.

Amir flinched as the door at the end of the room crashed open. He had almost convinced himself that the intruders would look over him, but he wasn't that lucky.

He squinted as the bed was covered in the bright light from the hall. Amir could see large shadows silhouetted against the doorframe, but he couldn't quite make out the details. Not that he wanted to. If his captors stayed anonymous it was easier to pretend they were just figments of his imagination.

But they weren't figures of his imagination. They were real, and they were coming into the room. And he was helpless to stop them

Fighting every urge in his body, Amir stayed as still as he could. Hopefully if he was obedient enough he could slip by unnoticed. Sometimes, when Sneherrs soldiers were busy, he would be left alone if he was quiet.

When the soldiers stepped into the room, Amir realized they looked nothing like he'd ever seen before. They were large, with bat-like wings and came in all different colors of brown and red. There were at least five of them, and the last one to walk into the room towered over the rest. Amir stifled a scream as they focused their attention solely on him. All their eyes glowed a dull red, and no one spoke for more time than Amir would have preferred. Not that he usually got a preference.

The largest creature spoke first, and it was clear they were angry. Amir shrunk back into the sheets, the spell keeping him in place broken by his fear. He had made it this far, he had to survive this and that meant avoiding this thing's wrath. He wanted to get off of the bed and climb under it, but he knew he wouldn't be able to. He could hardly sit up without screaming.

Sorry this is shorter than the last two, but i didn't feel like I could go much further with this perspective.

Eternity- Boredom

Warnings; implied noncon in context clues

Prince Theodore walked with Cecil as they secured Sneherrs fortress. It was his first mission on the council so he was assigned to watch the head of the guard. He wanted to be more helpful, but his uncle had forbidden him from doing anything beyond his practiced magic. He had said it was to protect Theodore from over exerting himself, but the Prince knew better. His uncle didn’t want anyone surpassing him in power as the King of the Sand Serpintine, especially not the crowned Prince. It would divide the loyalty of the guard, and the people.

Theodore didn’t mind too much, he could learn a lot more on his own than under the mages guidance. He preferred a more intuitive magic style anyways. The strict rules of the traditional practice made him feel trapped. After almost every lesson with one of the mages he had to meditate to feel like himself again. However, he couldn’t use his magic style here, because he couldn’t let his uncle know about it. So he was stuck doing basic tasks like forcing a door open, or pinning a few of Sneherrs guards against the wall until his guard could restrain them.

The tasks were incredibly boring, and he desperately wanted to figure out what else was in the fortress. He kept hearing quiet whispers and shuffling behind doors that they didn’t open, and every time he asked about it he was told that it wasn’t the guard’s place to handle the servants. That was what the rest of the group was for.

Theodore had a million questions for the citizens in Sneherrs palace that he wasn’t allowed to ask. He wanted to figure out how Sneherr controlled his guards to the point where they would refuse to answer any questions, even after Theodore had mentioned the council's decree. He wanted to figure out why the servants were hiding, and why Sneherr clearly had servant corridors and quarters instead of keeping them in the hall like the Sand Serptine did. He wanted to know why there were so many access points to the dungeon. And why those access points always included a bathing room.

For now, he couldn't get those answers, not until they finished clearing all of the guards out and getting the citizens into the healers tents. He sighed as he walked up to what looked like a large bedroom.

“This must be where Sneherr is. I don't think the other team has found him yet.” Theodore jumped when Cecil spoke. He tried to blink away the fuzziness from overthinking.

“So what should I be prepared for?” Theodore had yet to encounter someone the guards couldn't take, and he was itching for a confrontation to help alleviate some stress.

“He should surrender, considering we have most of his guards captured. But if not be prepared, in case he runs.”

Theodore nodded, “I'll open this door on three.”

“One”

Cecil stood back, and all the guards tensed

“Two”

Theodore geared up his magic, feeling it warm his hands. He widened his stance and grinned.

“Three!”

Hey, you are not an embarrassment for not knowing how to do certain household chores/basic self-care. They do not come naturally to us. A lot of it takes practice! Maybe you had a neglectful guardian. Maybe you had one that was very coddling and never thought to teach you. Maybe you haven't lived in a place where these things were available to you or needed. Doesn't matter. It's okay to not know and far more common than you might realise.

That said, this website provides very simple instructions on how to do everyday tasks such as making your bed, using a washing machine, cooking different foods, washing dishes, taking a shower, etc. All you have to do is use the search bar to find the task you're struggling with, and it'll come up with what you need + other related how-to's:)

If you're having trouble navigating it, let me provide you with some examples:

It's also perfectly okay if these don't help or aren't appealing to you. Unfortunately, nothing helps everyone.

Also if the reason you don't know is developmental , intelectual or learning disabilities making you struggle even if you've been taught a bunch of times , you are so cool and awesome too :^) [smiley face ]

Eternity- Amirs conundrum

Warnings: mentions of noncon, whumpee worrying about being punished, immobilized whumpee

Amir lay in a bed, completely exposed. His master had left him there when the guards needed his attention. He was waiting for him to come back. Amir knew as soon as he did that he would be hurt again, but it would be better than this limbo.

So many times over the past two weeks he had been left in a room or a cell to wait for Sneherr to come back, and he hated it. He just wanted to get the pain over with, to feel the sharp bite of punishment that his master had in store for him. He preferred this to the dull ache he was left with in those lonely hours. But of course that wasn’t his choice. His master could do as he pleased, and he would be where he left him. Sneherr had made sure of that.

Amir would have gladly gotten up and walked away if his feet had let him. His master had labeled him as a runaway, and treated him as such, leaving him unable to walk. Now he could barely move without his muscles screaming out in pain, so he stayed where he was. It wasn’t like he had anywhere to go. The room he was in centered in Sneherr’s fortress, and surrounded by guards. Usually he could hear their chatter and the jostling of their uniforms as they walked around.

He blinked, realizing that he hadn’t heard them since they had come to get his master. Usually if it was an emergency his master would get the royal guard, and the rest would be left to defend the castle. But now he couldn’t hear any of them, which meant this was not just an emergency. Whatever the guards were dealing with was way bigger than any threats Amir had seen before, and he was stuck on a bed. Unable to move, or leave, or run. He just had to sit and wait for whatever the danger was to come to him, like a duckling trapped in the reeds.

He started to listen closer to try and assess the situation, and he realized he could hear cries from the guards. They were far off and faint, but it sounded like a battle. Were they getting raided again? Did his master forget to pay off their debts? If Sneherr forgot to pay off his debts then why wasn’t the raid heading to the treasury? It was clearly getting closer now, the shouts from Sneherrs guards being drowned out by the cadence of a language Amir didn’t know. They would be nearing the room he was in soon. He hoped whatever they did to him, it was quick.
