I love that only 2 out of 10 of these aren't dorky and/or delightfully awkward.
I also love that the reputation era showcased her legit dancing skills & progress as a performer, while never giving up all the awkward & dorky glory that she continues to revel in.

The You Belong With Me video was the first @taylorswift spark in my heart. This depiction of a teenage girl dancing her heart out in her bedroom, completely her own self, and her own star was so skillfully and honestly crafted. Here was a heartfelt moment of a specific type of teenage experience, beautifully captured in a pop song and translated into this on point music video.
When the video came out I had just graduated from college, a frazzled mess set on planning my future rather than thinking of my high school past. Despite these reservations to open up to fully open up to Taylor Swift’s music, the seeds were planted. It would just take a few years for me to actually start watering them.
If I stare at this gif long enough, I think I can absorb this attitude to counter my regular case of the Mondays.
