At the end of season 2, I had a heavy pit in my stomach that Galadriel’s decreased screentime had less to do with the narrative and more to do with how reactive those piece of shit lorebros were immediately prior to and in real time during season 1. I mean there were vloggers, X users and hack television critics dedicated to having Morfydd fired. I just remember seeing several interviews and speeches Morfydd gave, talking about how much specifically Charlie supported her and championed her and I was thinking at the time, “From what?” “Why would he need to do that?” And after seeing Galadriel in season 2, now I get a feeling I know why. So BLESS Charlie for that. It sucks that it takes the male lead to lend his clout in order for her to have her voice heard. But fuck yeah. Now Amazon. Do RIGHT by Miv and Galadriel. DO RIGHT. She is the heart of TROP and the ratings for this past season reflect that. STAND BY HER and you will get that bag 💵.

Today...

1) Brych dropped another gorgeous haladriel art [x] and so did Tindu [x]

2) Official Rings of Power twitter acknowledged haladriel for the 2nd time [x]

3) Miv and Charlie continue to be best co-star friends that support each other [not going to link the tweet to protect their privacy but a fan met both of them; first she met Miv outside of a theatre and when she was asked if she was looking for Charlie (she was looking at her phone), Miv SMILED and said 'yeah', the fan said that she saw Charlie go back inside, Miv said that she will go look for him and bring him out for her, just as she headed in they bumped into each other and he gave her a bear hug and almost swept her off her feet cause he's so tall.]

Morfydd and Charlie seem to have a great friendship on top of having an incredible chemistry 🥰

Yessir. And the beauty of this whole thing is that they're not acting. This is actually how comfortable and close they are as friends, not just costars. I've seen actors who are friends on the red carpet and they're smiling and hugging and kissing each other's cheek, but once the camera's off, they don't go to their costars' shows or go out of their way to support them. Not because they aren't friends, but bc they simply aren't that invested in each other.

Charlie and Miv are each other's fans and show genuine interest in each other's pursuits. This is why we are lucky to have them play the two biggest, most critical roles in this series.

I've seen certain ppl say that their on-screen chemistry can be recreated, how Charlie isn't the only one allowed to have chemistry with Miv, and how the relationship between their characters isn't explicitly romantic. All of that is true, especially when it comes time for another canon relationship to unfold with Galadriel, as we all know from the book. But what's wild to me is when the same ppl hilariously miss the point. Something most people already know.

Whooosh.

Regardless of what happens on screen between two characters, it will always be acting. The real thing will always be the authentic friendship that two people, with a long history, share off screen, not just on it. You can't fake or recreate what's naturally there. Or top it for that matter.
