What if,,,,, after ydyd 3, the people who died came back as full mobs. However instead of hunting the others they help them.
Ryan, now an enderman, keeps a watchful eye on the survivors, sometimes even teleporting them away if they are in a sticky situation.
Gavin is a friendly creeper, who has learned to blow up without dying. He helps them with their construction, but he mostly just follows them around hissing happily(sometimes he gets too happy and and blows himself up)
Michael is a Zombie Pigman. He’s strong, and is able to convince the other Pigman that the survivors are ok, so they no longer agro, and will even protect them if Michael is near to rally them.
Trevor is a drowned. He helps them if they stay under too long, and also helps all the animals in the sea. It is pretty easy to tell when Trevor is near, because turtles will be near.
Fredo is a stray, a icy bowman that covers their back. His ranged power is incredibly useful for the two survivors. He also gives them potions of slowness, and helps them make other potions with Lindsey.
Lindsey is a witch, who, along with fredo, helps the survivors with potions. She makes some potions, but mostly just fun foods and strong brews(which they appreciate a lot too).
Matt would be a Phantom. He gives eyes from the skies. He flies around to give them warning if a monster approaches(they can’t communicate with him but he tries to warn them anyway). He also tries to get them to take care of themselves, and sleep often.
Finally, Fiona comes back as the baby Dragon! She hatches from the egg and Jack and Jeremy help her grow into a strong ender dragon.
