I think we’re forgetting someone, guys.

Valerie is, more or less, fully human. Like Danny, she started all this at fourteen. She doesn’t have invisibility or intangibility or super strength - and yet she can hold her own against most ghosts. Like, damn, future!Val holds off the most powerful ghost in existence for like 10 years and if that isn’t impressive then idk what to tell you.

She might not quite be on Danny’s level, but to most ghosts she’s a serious threat. Since FwD, her suit’s pretty much become a part of her. It’s bristling with anti-ghost weaponry, it allows her to fly (at over 25 000mph, according to the wiki), it presumably has its own oxygen supply and basically doubles as a spacesuit. She’s like Iron Man, only better (and poorer…). Seriously though, she’s got more different kinds of ectoweaponry than Danny has powers, which is really saying something.

Even without the suit, she’s a ninth degree black belt and she’s really fit - unlike Danny, whose human form seems to lack a lot of athletic skill.

And then personality-wise - good god, this girl is dedicated. She’s still in school and she’s got a part time job to support herself later on, and she still goes out ghost hunting and putting her life at risk. And she seems to juggle this a lot better than Danny does (although to be fair he’s a lot more of a full-time ghost hunter than she is). She’s ridiculously persistent and stubborn, not to mention ruthless. She’s not down with harming humans, though, and throughout the show she aggressively believes that she’s the hero - which she would be, if our protagonist wasn’t Danny and if we didn’t know that some ghosts aren’t all bad.

What I’m trying to say here is Valerie the superpowerless teenage girl as part of a team of supers and kicking ten times more ass than them

Guys, we need a DP/DC Valerie-centric crossover stat. Because “Valerie meets the Batfamily” in every iteration I actually know of needs to happen, and that’s not the only one.

I just commissioned this from ectology and she does not disappoint! Look at how awesome this is!! I love the feeling of motion in it! You can definitely feel her rage just jumping off the page and it is SO COOL!! And her gun! Look at that awesome glow effect! EVERYTHING IS JUST SO COOL!!!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

what if “lucy” was about lucy liu casually beating up pervy white dudes instead and the story was about an asian woman who gets justice from the white men who used and abducted her. and it was an effective commentary on white imperialism, the violent commodification of asian people and asian culture by western society, the demonization of asian people, and the continuing history of violence on unwilling asian bodies especially those of asian women by white people.

While other Presidents get lions, robot unicorns, and lightsabers, all Roosevelt had was his fucking gun because that’s all he needed. He was so badass he didn’t need all the extra weapons. FUCK YEAH.
