sooo...

Ok so today I was at this clothing boutique right and I was just minding my own business when suddenly a saleslady tapped my shoulder. She was really hesitant which in turn kinda made me anxious as well, but she had a smile on her face so I thought ok, lets do this. Anyways, she started to talk to me and was like, "Hi, see that gentleman over there?" She said as she pointed out a guy in his mid-30s, early-40s standing a bit farther away from us. "He's getting this sweater for his wife but he has no clue about shopping. He's not sure if it'll fit but he says you're about the same size as her and he's asking whether you could try it on and see how it fits? He really wants to buy this for his wife -- he says even though he hates shopping, he just had to stop for this because when he saw it, it reminded him of her cause she loves wearing pastel pink clothes. But he just wants to make sure that it'll fit first." Once the initial shock & anxiousness wore off, i just took a look at the sweater, then at the lady, and finally i looked at the guy. And he looked back with such a shy, yet hopeful face, and his expression was like, "pls try it on, i really have no clue about shopping but i love my wife". Like literally, he had such a puppydog expression lol. Well anyways, although i was a bit creeped out at first, the fact that he asked another person to approach me (a saleslady) so as not to make me uncomfortable, and hearing the fact that he just had to get it because it reminded him of his wife, made me do it. I tried it on and it fit perfectly. So I looked up at the guy, gave him the thumbs up and he looked so happy lol. And yea i took it off, gave it back to the saleslady who was apologizing profusely for bothering me (to which i just laughed and said it was no problem), and she went off to hand it over to the guy. And he bought it. He really did. And in that moment i thought, "wow, i just sort of became a model for a couple minutes there. And damn, what a lucky girl that guy's wife is."
