So McSnurtle is basically the HR of the pet world, right?

Iris: I want to get Barry a pet.

Joe (sadly did not say): HR LITERALLY JUST GOT YOU A TURTLE.

I know Iris was just making up random crap on the spur of the moment (um, she didn’t think of a better excuse beforehand?) and I guess Joe was panicking over the “omg Iris is pregnant???” factor but hello PLZ SOMEONE REMEMBER THE TURTLE.

I totally thought of the turtle! I like the turtle! But yeah I was thinking the same thing, I spoke to myself (I’m the only one who actually watches the show and it doesn’t help it shares a time slow with another show)

“HR just gave you a turtle as a house warming gift…did you kill the poor thing already?”

I feel like the AVClub commenters who are like “YES BUT WHERE IS CLYDE THE TORTOISE???” after every Elementary episode.

Clearly McSnurtle will be the one who betrays the team after being completely forgotten and neglected.
