sorry obsessed with adam and the fact that he can look at michael's true form right now because even in later seasons when they fucked over the angels they drew attention to angelic true forms as something worthy of horror. like castiel's true form burned pamela's eyes out in season four but even sam and rowena were severely traumatized by seeing lucifer's true form and that definitely wasn't in the early seasons. but then in season five they were like yeah we're gonna have adam stare directly at michael's true form with no consequences and then in season fifteen they were like yeah he's gonna be completely normal around him. they're besties now btw. and i would say that maybe being in the cage for centuries for two archangels (and lucifer was missing a vessel completely after sam was rescued meaning he had to have seen lucifer's true form as well) altered his brain chemistry but like. in 5x18 when he turned around to look at michael's true form it's like he went from scared to awed. he barely even looked frightened at that point compared to how he was banging on the door trying to escape only moments beforehand!!! and it's like what was that all about. was that just fucking normal to him or something. did being stuck in the cage with two of them for so long desensitize him even more to it and now he looks directly at michael's true form in s15 and goes look at my big friend :) or something. hello????
