I've had this one in mind for a while, but finally decided to go ahead with it. These are my favorite spn episodes from Seasons 1 and 2.

I wanted to limit it, which was hard since there were some great classic episodes to choose from. I'm curious to see if a Season 1 or 2 episode will get the top spot.

Sam and Dean take on a case at an old hotel with suspicious deaths. Sam is torn up about turning evil. Dean tries to help Sam feel better by giving him the big save in the end.

SPN 2x13 Houses of the Holy

Sam and Dean try to find out if angels are real (before the days on the show where we know they do exist) during a case where some believe they've had angelic encounters. Sam believes he has met an angel during the case and Dean learns Sam prays every day. In the end, even Dean considers angels/Archangels are real after possibly witnessing an act of divine intervention...
