Weird take but I have huge grudge towards the background actors in the diner scene in 15x08, not throughout the entire scene but just at the end when Michael smites Lilith, when it pans around to the rest of the diner none of them look afraid enough, they all just look mildly shocked (except that one girl on the table behind Micheal when he leans over the booth, that girl look traumatized and I appreciate it) and it just takes me out of his whole 'Archangel power thing that Jabel had going on.

In 15.02 and later in this episode, Castiel says his grace is failing, yet he completely burns out Belthy, a powerful demon. I’ve seen some attributing this to the writers not paying attention, but I think this was done deliberately.
Notice how Castiel is struggling. It could be that he’s struggling because Belthy looks like his kid, but I think he found it really hard to pull up enough grace. He has limited reserves, but burning out the demon is so important, he pulls on everything he has. Look at his face:
That’s pure determination and hated.
