Did anyone notice
Did anyone notice that Riley tried to keep somewhat of a distance from Mac? For example, when Mac came back from seeing Leland, he fast walked to her. As soon as he got close, she took a step back. I think she distancing herself so she doesn't do something to ruin their friendship. Just from the hug in 4×07, everyone saw that she didn't want to let go and she looked like she wanted to savor their hug like it would be their last one. Which was kinda true. They haven't hugged since then. I think she realized that his arms was where she needed to be. She was home. Anyway, back to 4×13. We know she's starting to keep her distance. But Mac is not letting that happen. Who is he standing/ sitting next to? Who is he protecting? Who is he calling? Who does he trust? Who is he starting to open to? One person: Riley Davis! Remember when one of Codex's men wanted to take her to the tech room. Spoiler Alert, he wanted to go with her. 1. For protection 2. To be with her. Thing is, Riley is bringing the old Mac back. As we could see from 4×12. The deaths of Charlie and his father took a huge toll on him. The way Desi has been treating him isn't helping either. I'm not saying he's any better. I'm saying all of this lead to him almost loosing himself and he felt lost. Now, even though he lost his aunt, he has his found family to help him through. He knows that now. And also, I think he tried that spritzer because Riley must have had that drink. They had the same drink. For example,

And he liked it. So they have the same taste in drinks as well. Since he had two of them. It all leads to them getting together somewhere in season 5. I hope. Reblog/ like/ or reply to tell me what you think.
