hm. so. it takes 2-2.5 hours to dive to the titanic (about 12,500ft), and the sub most likely imploded between 1.75 and 2 hours into the dive- 70-80% of the way down. let's call it 75%. that's right about 9375 feet, or 2840 meters. i wonder if that lines up conveniently with-
