Henry’s 237th Birthday Gift Exchange

The birthday of our favorite immortal is approaching and we want to celebrate! Last year to celebrate the occasion we had a secret Forever fanworks gift exchange and it went so well we’re going to do it again! What that means is that if you want to participate you will be making a Forever fanwork gift for another person but you will also be receiving a gift of one from another person on Tumblr who is participating in the exchange.

Here’s how it will work:

To sign up send me a message to say ‘I’m in’ along with your gift request. This is something that you would like to receive as a gift. Don’t be so specific that you limit the creativity of your gift giver but make sure they know a little of what you like. Here are a few of the requests from last year: Fluffy Henry and Abigail, A story with Henry and James, Henry Jo and a sudden downpour, something along the lines of Henry meeting a famous person from history, any sort of dynamic between Adam and Henry, Henry/Jo platonic or romantic.

I will message you to let you know that I received your request. We had some trouble with messaging last year so if you have not received a return message from me in a couple of days make sure and message me again.

After the sign-ups close I will message who with the name and request of another person who has signed up for the gift exchange and was randomly chosen for you. This will be the person you will be making a gift for. But remember it’s a secret so don’t tell them! At that time I will give more specifics for posting gifts which will occur on Henry’s birthday on September 19.

This exchange is open types of fanworks, fics, videos and fanart. As the gift recipient you can chose what kind of gift you want but what form that gift takes will be up to the gift giver and their talents. There will be no requirements as far as length and the only deadlines are for sign up and posting. This is Henry’s birthday we’re celebrating so have fun! This isn’t meant to be stressful. Just use your best judgment and be generous.
