Summary: Castiel, powered by Leviathan souls, becomes the new God. He keeps Sam and Dean for his own. Castiel must balance his conflicting feelings for Sam; holding his past affections for him while also maintaining terrible Godly power over his first follower. Dean, on the other hand, is kept as a prisoner and tortured for his rebellion. But the Leviathans won’t be held for long, and Castiel is in danger.
Excerpt:
Castiel’s stomach twinges when Sam’s face colors, but the man rises and sits stiffly at his desk as Castiel requested. Sam takes one of the charred pieces of meat and examines it apprehensively. Castiel thinks, for a moment, that this is the end of his faith. That this is his rebellion. But Sam is a true believer – that will never change. He places the meat in his mouth and chews slowly. Tears spring to his eyes.
“Who is this?” He whispers through his mouthful. Castiel would reprimand him for speaking with his mouth full, but the question is more important.
“Who?”
“Lucifer made me… I know what human flesh tastes like. Who is this? Who did you kill?” He swallows the meat, but a sour expression takes over his face. Castiel has killed many. But there is only one person worth putting in Sam’s mouth.
Castiel places one hand on the back of Sam’s head. He will learn that Castiel is final. He does not have choices outside of Castiel. He cannot have love beyond Castiel. And so, Castiel reaches out and flips over a round, uncooked chunk of meat. A bright green eyeball stares up at them.
Do you think hbo spn would have more sastiel in it?
I think sastiel in HBO spn would be a little cursed and sad and angsty and not the pure friendly relationship healthy thing that actual sastiel has (I love you Peace of Mind<3)
