Summary:

Following Dean’s death, Sam’s departure from the Bunker is delayed when a mystery falls into his lap.

A worried Castiel visits one day carrying Adam who looks like he’s knocking on death’s door. The last Sam heard was Adam had happily reunited with Michael following Jack’s intervention.

But now, Adam has only a few hours left to live. And Michael is back in The Empty – sent there by a being that Castiel is hesitant to talk about.

With Jack off-world and out of reach from any communication, Sam and Castiel need to find a way to save Adam before time runs out.
