Ghosts and AJR are two of my favorite things so I made an edit with both of them. This is my first time making an edit so idk if it’s any good or not
There's a reason why Trevor saying "I want to hug my mom," just hit me like a ton of bricks. I mean the guy seems super chill, almost downright happy with his afterlife until you show him his parents, his brother, and who knows who else will come along, and then we see that maybe he's not just super okay being dead after all...
OMG yes.
My heart BROKE for Trevor. All he wanted was a hug from his mom. All he wanted was to see and hang out with his brother.
Even with Ari, all he wanted was to catch up on what he missed.
That poor man tries so hard to just live his afterlife ignoring the pain of leaving behind the people he loves until it smacks him in the face.
and then, his heart breaks.
he wants them to be happy, but it hurts.
and it's just.... so hard.
He's not okay. He just pretends to be. Just like he pretends to be a sleazy frat boy, but he's not. It's very tragic, how hard he tries to pretend like he's fine when he's not.
We see signs of that early on and it just... he deserves the world.

Just rewatched the episode and I realized something. Aside from the brief mention of Trevor's memorial when he first walked in, the flashback, and his off hand comment when he's about to win, he doesn't seem to care about being where his brother died.
He cares more about free room and board.
After Trevor gives him the wet willy, and Sam blurts out his brother's name, he should have looked around, "Trevor is here?" **sigh** So much potential.
OMG you're so right.
That makes NO SENSE.
Like Trevor's parents literally went there just to be there and see where he spent his last moments and Jeremy is just like "meh, I know he was here but you know, free room and board".
That is SO messed up. There are so many options and they messed it up. The more I think about this episode, the more sad I am about what they could've done.
Especially with that END moment - like literally got a wet willy from a ghost and Sam actually saying "Trevor" and he just ... shrugged and packed????
It makes no sense. Why bring him there if it wasn't going to be about Trevor and his death?
Trevor can't even get respect from his brother. 🤦♀️
Aww I'm choosing to believe that Jeremy wasn't actually ready to say goodbye to Trevor and that because Sam and Jay didn't want him around, he kept things to himself.
Like he was thinking about Trevor but didn't want to talk to Sam and Jay (who weren't really trying to talk about him either).
I guess.
Still, he was more interested in exploiting the loophole than Trevor.
I agree. This is why I'm keeping my HC about Jeremy that I've had for the last year in my heart. And ignore canon :)
Hmm, a headcanon for Jeremy? I don't remember reading that post.
It shows up more in my fics than an actual post but ever since Jeremy was first mentioned, I've had certain ideas about him:
He's Trevor's twin (obviously thus one was never the thing but I love it anyway).
He's the exact opposite of Trevor -> kind of quieter, more introverted, country boy that has a grudge streak like you wouldn't believe. While Trevor would let things go (lkke what Ari and David did), Jeremy would be the type to never let go. For example, if he was the one Hetty almost sent to Hell, he'd constantly be reminding her about it.
He's an artist. Which is why he didn't leave the house as quickly as Trevor (and his parents thought of it more as a hobby than career) and takes awhile for his career to take off.
Oh. And being a twin allows him to see and talk to ghosts and because of Trevor's power, he can touch them, too.
I also typically write him as ace.
