hold on. where did cas and michael meet up at after cas prayed to him? where was that place? did they have to drive an hour with angry michael sitting in the back seat of the impala with a lowkey terrified cas squished up against his side to get as far from michael as possible? with a tense-as-all-hell dean having flashbacks to alt!michael? with sam having cage flashbacks? can you imagine that car ride. can you. michael fuming and giving off the most murderous vibes he can manage. dean almost crashing a record number of times. adam constantly trying to soothe michael so he doesn’t implode team free will on impulse, wrapping as much of his soul around michael’s grace as he can like both a warm blanket and a body shield because he’d at least like to hear them out before michael slaughters them. talk about an awkward family road trip.
