No, it actually would have been really funny if Cas had brought both Sam and Adam’s soulless bodies back in season 6. You know, as a sort of cover in case Dean ever came sniffing around. Cas would just stand there with a straight face, claiming the cage must have just spat them both back out because it wasn’t made to hold humans.

Meanwhile Sam and Adam are roaming around being the most amoral stoic people ever, creeping Samuel out, and Dean would momentarily wonder if this is just how Adam is as a person, because he never got to know his youngest brother, and for all he knows Adam’s just rubbing off on Sam. 

Later, Dean will still choose Sam to get his soul back when he has his meeting with Death. Largely because he really can’t tell the difference between soulless Adam and Adam-Adam, and the rest of the series would just have Sam and Dean constantly bickering over whose turn it is to babysit Adam, who’ll just be there wandering around inadvertently causing havoc in the background of their cases. 

Soulless Adam and Amara meeting would be so funny! 

The Winchesters are running away because she might eat their souls, and Adam is just standing there. Then Amara would squint at him, talking out loud, “Did I already…?”

Meanwhile in the impala, Sam and Dean are fleeing, when Dean suddenly hits the breaks. “WE FORGOT ADAM!”

“AGAIN?”

Rest of the season, Adam’s just chilling in the background of Amara’s scenes.

And come season 15, this could have allowed for some fun foreshadowing for Michael.

Chuck snaps his fingers in season 14, and we the audience see Adam just sort of freeze or startle in the background, as if he’s experiencing something no one else is. Then staright away in season 15, Adam’s sort of acting different. But no one really notices at first because there’s so much else going on with the escaped souls from Hell.

But then they capture Michael in a ring of fire, and as they’re standing there giving their little “you’re coming with us” speech, Adam comes in with a fire extinguisher, and we see Michael’s face light up.

Because Michael thought he’d lost Adam forever when they got separated in the crowd of paranormal entities fleeing Hell, and with those symbols that Cas carved on Adam’s bones back in season 5 still in place, Michael had been flying all over the world trying to find his little human friend.

(Naturally, Michael swoons on the spot, because he is not accustomed to being rescued.)

Don't ask me how but- AND HEAR ME OUT-

What if when Michael and Adam are finally reunited, like when they both come back and see each other for the first time Adam just... stops for a second, and just looks at Michael, staring blank at his true form.

Michael is over-fucking-joyed to have Adam back and have God gone and everything, and there's this general idea that Adam would just be himself and make a stupid little joke or something.

So Michael waits before making a move towards Adam, waits for Adam to say something, anything to make the situation feel real.

And nothing happens.

Michael takes a few steps towards Adam and quietly whispers "Adam...." the word feeling strange when said softly after he'd been screaming it in the empty.

and then Adam just, breaks.

He latches onto Michael and wraps his arms around his shoulders as his knees give out and he falls into Michael's embrace, all the while sobbing and screaming his soul out.

Michael snaps into it immediately because he feels Adam. Feels his soul in pieces as his grace try's to repair everything and stop the hurt pouring from Adam.

Thinking about Adam Milligan AND Michael

Thinking about when Adams actor Jake Abel said that Adam would be fucking delighted to know Michael immediately betrayed the Winchesters after his death like underrated character trait of Adam Milligan is how much he HATES Sam and Dean. I feel like Adam is a pretty easy character to mess up or misinterpret because if you pull him too far from being just a guy you risk making him into a Crazy Winchester which is the exact opposite of what he is but I genuinely believe he would let them both die with little conflict. And you know what good for him, I'm glad, Low key think Sam and Dean deserve death by him and only him ngl

Like Adam would never ask Michael to kill them but if for some reason Michael was in the bunker and Dean bumped his shoulder in the hallway and Michael decided "You know what It's Time." Adam would just be like "can't argue with that, It's Just Time." and the entire bunker would just be vaporized off the planet

BUT if a customer at the bar Adam worked at broke a chair over Adams head in a fit of rage Adam would just tell Michael "This guy is obviously an asshole but lets just call the cops and get this guy arrested" and Michael would say "He NEEDS to be accosted by an Angel of the LORD We need to call upon HELLFIRE-" And then the guy would just get arrested

ALSO THOUGH if a guy tried to repeatedly get Adams number and flirt with him Adam would say "I'm litterally going to outlive this guy by centuries dont kill him now i wanna show up at his deathbed in 50 years itll be so funny" and Michael would be like "What should i make us for dinner maybe hawawshi how do you feel about hawawshi?" and then that guy would die of a unrelated heart condition 2 hours later.

Jack reviving everyone and all of heaven is SCANDALIZED to learn Michael married Adam (put that ring on his finger and angelic brand on his soul) after knowing him for only 1200 years.

You all remember, how Sam and Dean went back in time and told Mary to never get pregnant? How they told her that they would absolutely be okay with never being born? They almost seemed giddy at the thought, because wouldn't that save them a lot of pain?

But Mary says, it's too late, she is already pregnant with Dean.

And Sam and Dean drop the idea immediately. BOTH drop it immediately. Mary was only pregnant with Dean. Sam still could still ask her that she at least doesn't get pregnant again. But he doesn't. If Dean is going to be in this world, so will be Sam. No hesitation. And Dean doesn't mention (or think of?) that possibility either. Because how could he possibly live this life without his baby brother?

I hope supernatural season 16 is following Chuck on his journey to make his books into a Supernatural tv show and nothing else. It ends with Sam asking Dean Jr. what he's watching when he hears "dad's on a hunting trip ... and he hasn't been home in a few days" from the TV and he has the most collasal breakdown. Garth is also in season 16 btw

I know everyone and their mothers and ME have said this before, but they really should've let Michael kill God.

Can you imagine having prevented the apocalypse multiple times since the OG apocalypse and then coming back full circle with Michael ending the world. The first time was because his Father commanded it and he loved Him. And now it's bcs an all-consuming grief of losing the only person he truly loved and who truly loved him.

The last shot of the show would be a dead planet (you can see the moon in pieces in the sky), the dead bodies of the winchesters, God dead with these MASSIVE wings scorched into the ground, Michael standing in the midst of it all with his eyes glowing red

Thinking about a world where Adam is pulled out of the cage early without Michael and is unwillingly pulled into Sam and Dean's emotionally incestuous codependent relationship. He hates it, but his brothers have made too many enemies for it to be safe for him to live by himself and he doesn't have a certain angelic companion to help keep him safe. So he's kind of just stuck there, reluctantly playing a part in his brothers codependency because he doesn't really have a lot of options and occasionally lashing out at them whenever they cross a line he's uncomfortable with
