Y'all should Google the article, it’s actually pretty neat. Basically, the Aldabra Atoll was once inhabited by the Aldabra Rail, a flightless species of bird that had diverged from the flying White-Throated Rail when a section of the population landed there and found they had no natural predators. However, the Atoll occasionally gets completely submerged, and all of the flightless Aldabra rails were wiped out. But then, after the Atoll re-emerged, a bunch of the EXACT SAME species of flying White Throated Rail decided to settle there again, and immediately proceeded to evolve into flightless birds AGAIN.

I finally have a website to sell my paintings! You can now find my original paintings available for purchase here.

My prints will still be sold through INPRNT for the time being but any original pieces of work will be sold through this site. Paintings that are purchased will ship every Wednesday and Friday. I will be uploading paintings in batches of 5-10 as soon as they are completed and make a post to notify when there are new pieces available for purchase.

The site will continue to be updated as time goes on and I appreciate your patience while I get the hang of running things. I'll be happy to answer any questions to the best of my ability as well!

Amidst the fluttering of wings, A broken angel sits and sings, Of freedom lost and skies above, Of soaring high and unbound love.

His wings now gone, turned to ash, No longer can he soar and dash, With pigeon friends and rooftop sky, Castiel relearns to live and fly.

(I hope you like this artwork with the little poem ❤)

the black-throated blue warbler is a small passerine bird found primarily in eastern north america, wintering in the caribbean & central america. this bird is named for the male’s distinctive plumage, featuring a dark black mask that extends into a bar running along the side of the bird, and a blue upper half; females are olive-brown and yellow. they prefer deciduous & mixed coniferous habitats. black- throated blue warblers prefer to nest relatively close to the ground, so their nesting grounds are often open expanses of forest. they feed mainly on insects, such as caterpillars and spiders, but supplement their diet with fruits, berries and seeds.
