What's hilarious about these people though is that they're either not paying attention to the manga/anime or aren't caught up because if they were they would know Gosho already wrote him knowing who Shinichi is into manga canon multiple times now.

It started as a random thought I had last night as I was falling asleep and now it's grown into something I actually want to write, where Okiya just. Visits Poirot after like every (relevant) case and harasses the very annoyed/adorable feral cat of a waiter.
The other customers go from "why does Amuro seem to hate that grad student, he seems nice and polite" to "wait maybe that grad student has a thing for Azusa, since he's here all the time" (because hetero-normative assumptions) to "he and Amuro are dating, actually, since he's always here and when he's not, Amuro's 'making deliveries' at his residence" when the reality is that they're both just sort of stalking each other and this might be Okiya's idea of flirting.

and for extra silliness, things get more chaotic when Rum starts working next door. Rei realizes he probably has to protect this idiot from Rum and suddenly someone sees Rei like shove Okiya in the bathroom or something. this does nothing to quell the rumors.

Haibara slowly finding reasons to be hopeful after the event of the bus hijacking. She found her late mum's recordings and knew that her sister didn't simply abandon her.
She had friends, she had Shinichi who's always telling her to face forward and not be scared, and even Ran who she finds difficult to understand I reckon, wanted to voluntarily help her, risking her own life at it.

You know when your Best Agent™ just so happens to neglect to inform you that he's going to get rid of the physical feature that makes him more easily recognizable so that you run the risk of Not Finding Him? Yeah me too
Actually that previous post is WHY I adore Makoto and Sonoko's relationship so much.
Unlike our MC and his love interest who are shown to be insanely jealous to the point of controlling if their love interest interact with anyone of the opposite gender, Makoto, who had made his feelings pretty clear to Sonoko when he first properly met her, didn't come to the mountain to scare away the boy she had told him she was interested in but rather to see if he was right for her and he was very much willing to accept Sonoko's choice BECAUSE he respects her.
The writing can be shaky at times but it's genuinely one of the better relationships in the series because their is mutual respect between the two that most of the official pairings are missing.
Is it surprising that out of the four decent straight pairings in this series, all of them met when they were older and so didn't have the "they're childhood friends so they have to love one another" be the thing that tells us they're in a relationship.
POV: You came to see if the guy your crush has been talking about is good enough for her. After decimating a deadly threat using martial arts, you learn that guy is, in fact, you.
But THEN she wants you to still hang around!! Hurry, show her you're interested in her!

Making Shinichi kill someone is such an interesting concept. The boy who believes killing is abhorrent, who will go out of his way to save lives many wouldn't or have seen as too far gone, having to make the choice to kill because if he didn't it would mean someone else would die and exploring how he lives with it.
Even if it's Gin he has to kill to protect Ai, Shinichi would struggle so much with the choice he made and blame himself for putting them in a situation where that was the only choice he could make to rescue her.
God and if it was to protect Ai, that would be a horrible situation for her too because she is one of the few characters who know Shinichi the best and knows that what he did would be something he would struggle to handle and yet she would think "because of her I put him in such a bad situation again" and the duo with suffer with their own guilt over it.
Making Shinichi kill isn't something you should do lightly but BOY is it a fun scenario to explore.

One of the greatest flavours of Conan and Ai: Aro/Ace Ai having to put up with Shinichi's gay pining for KID and mocking him for being a dramaqueen.
And then extorting those Kudo riches in order to get all the designer items she wants. She deserves it after listening to Shinichi whine over KID for the 50th time that month.
