I am a fool who draws at 2:00 AM. But it made a happy broccoli boi sooooo...
“Greetings fellow humans, humanoids, and creatures of similar stature, I am the most magnificent and, certainly, the most prestigious Zegne, goblin master of many wonderous sorceries!”
In preparation for Pathfinder 2.0 / Second Edition, I’m getting ready my new character for our group’s upcoming campaign! Zegne, a chaotic good goblin with high Intelligence and Charisma, seeks to go on an adventure! Quirky, eccentric, and some might say arrogant, Zegne is quick to laugh and have fun but few have gained his trust and learned his secrets.
Just some work on torso/upper legs practice; not something I do a lot as I'm not an art student, just a hobbyist, but it was fun to do!
A sketch of someone I know irl :)
Was a bit bored and sketched out everyone’s favorite Reaper, also bored as hell and trying not to think of his asymmetrical hair.
A quick sketch of a Pathfinder Player Character of mine named Saldszar Abbylan.
One of the rare male Drow Nobles, he grew up unsure of what to do with his life. With magic at his fingertips, yet his place in drow society dictated by being a male, Saldszar grew frustrated as he would never be able to rise higher in the noble family, nor be able to become the leader of the family. Plotting and trying to rally other male Drow, the Matriarch of his House came to view him as a threat. On her orders, his innate magic was sealed and he was exiled into the rest of the Underdark.
With his magic gone, Saldszar desperately searched for other ways to reconnect to the arcane to fill the void left after his magic was ripped out. Stumbling on the magic used by Summoners, he began training himself to summon a being to stand by his side and help him achieve his goals as he wandered the Underdark, searching for followers and adventurers to help him get revenge on his former House.
Hello everyone! Back again, once again, with another sketch of mine; this one is of Kakashi Hatake, everyone’s favorite jonin instructor from Naruto! His hair is really fun to use as practice for crazy anime hair (though after sketching Sora’s hair I’m not sure any anime hairstyle can give me trouble anymore).
So @musicalherbalist introduced me to the artist Eve ( https://twitter.com/oO0Eve0Oo , https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUXfRsEIJ9xO1DT7TbEWksw ), specifically the song As You Like It ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nROvY9uiYYk ).
I love listening to music in a language I cant understand. Sure, lyrics are always a big impact to a song but when you cant understand them- it reminds me how powerful music can be on its own, a language that everyone gets. When you cant understand the words, they become yet another instrument, allowing you to appreciate the melody and musicality of the singer’s words themselves. Of course I had the subtitles on in English so I could understand the song, but... well.
Sorry for the random and unasked for philosophy, I’ve been playing this song on repeat for the past day or two- I love it way too much.
Plus, the art for all of Eve’s music videos are amazing; I adore the animation style.
Anyways! Go check them out!
Took a stab at drawing my version of a friends’( @wolfs-dawn ) DnD Character Rowena! I’m a player in the same campaign as her and this character is a blast to be around- a boisterous, map-illiterate barbarian who can dance with the best of them.
Also my first time drawing a female OC at all so I’m super pleased with how it came out!
Working on my Warrior of Light and his best friend (maybe more someday) Alphinaud, standing side by side.
But... That moment when your rough outline of the body is pretty spot on.... But now you gotta draw the head and you know how well that’s gonna go.
Can’t he just be a headless Elf? Please?
Was re-watching one of my favorite blind Let’s Plays of Kingdom Hearts- and you know when you're doing that, the small sketchbook comes out and I get to drawing more of my favorite Keyblade wielder (don’t worry Roxas, you’re my second favorite).
While I’m up, decided to share some of my creative process as a DM.
Thankfully none of my players follow me or know about my Tumblr..... yet.
Hm.
On Sunday my players, after having managed to do their best Hitman impression and assassinate the Head Priest guarding the entrance to the ancient catacombs, will be venturing into the depths. This is my initial idea sketch for the catacombs; featuring a main corridor that leads to the Towers of the Dead (basically large cylindrical rooms housing hundreds of dead bodies), and a Seal Room that will house the item they seek, as well as the pathway to the labyrinth to the enemy’s (who stole the key to the seals) lair.
Of course if they do see this it will be completely different. But given as they usually are murder hobos, as it is an evil campaign, scrapping everything and making up a new plan is par for the course.
My first attempt to draw a Chibi-fied version of my favorite Scion of the Seventh Dawn / Crystal Brave, Alphinaud! Gonna try and flesh it out more but I just couldnt get the bottom half of his body to be at the angle I wanted, so I decided to post what progress I had made as I like how his face came out!
Can I just say I definitely ship him and my Warrior of Light?
A sketch of one of the demons I made for an Evil Pathfinder campaign I’m running; Xon-Vo, a demon who dons a human-esque disguise obsessed with hoarding secret knowledge to the point where he will slaughter people wholesale who know about the subject just to make it more “secret”. Known at large among the Empire as “The Smile Killer” for his seemingly inhuman grin.
