ANOTHER ONE!!! amarett the rando!! randos are by @lucheek and the rando base, hair & dreamer outfits are by @deepseaspriteblog! they're a star, and their entire brand promotes the idea of living a luxurious effortless lifestyle. certainly not "bold glam", but moreso "yes i am this pretty and elegant and popular by design. i do not have to wear makeup i just look like this always". their main appeals are beauty products and accessories, but they probably have something with their brand on it for every item one could feasibly ever need in life. they're quite a popular star! despite the whole "this is effortless and i am cute and soft" act, they are anything but 'cute and soft'. they have a nasty reputation amongst other stars for accusing anyone working with even remotely similar aesthetics of copying, to the point most stars probably dont even wanna touch that specific shade of pink plastered all over brand, and being a popular kid on the block means that an accusation like that does NOT end well for whatever star is on the recieving end. theyve also gone through plenty of starfriends, some of whom also ended up being accused of copying after a breakup. they spend a lot of time perfecting the glowy skin "no makeup" makeup look, and theyre actually pretty jealous and certainly not "effortless". they dont really like to network with other stars that rival their popularity, but equally they dont want to "boost" a less popular star out of fear they will surpass them. this leads to most of their (ex)starfriends having brands so far removed from theirs that it almost clashes. how those copying accusations manage to work sometimes is an absolute mystery! their hearts are also an incredibly dedicated bunch, and being an ex ama*rett heart openly could get you VERY violently harassed by their current fans. despite all this, the jealousy and paranoia can be lonely at times. the life of a heart seems so.. sooo much simpler... but what kind of star wishes to become a heart? something like that ABSOLUTELY would not fly, so they dont talk about stuff like that. still, though, maybe making an ACTUAL friend somewhere down the line wouldn't hurt? i hope this was good and fits the species well! again just like my cyclops im totally open for critique on how to make them fit better in universe :D i might also design a random heart for them, to illustrate how their average heart would look, dress and behave, but for some reason my art program had SO. MANY. CLIPPING ISSUES. working on this that if i do that itll be a project for maybe a few weeks from now (or whenever i am randomly attacked by the Pink Fever again). and please. if you so any clipping/layer issues. no you dont. Look Away. Avert Your Eyes. Pretend You Do Not See It. i tried my BEST!!

Randos have brightly glowing white blood which makes their skin paper-white-- and gives their hair, pupils and puffs a pastel tint. They can have any color for hair, pupils and puffs- but it's always the same between those features. Randos also have very long, flat dog-like tongues.

Randos do not have sexes or even genders like humans do. Instead, they are given a societal role upon spawning by having their puffs analyzed by mysterious prophets- assigned to be either a HEART or a STAR. They have their puff stands recorded with their role, and must make it known their role in their dress at all times.

Star Randos must curate a totally original life-style brand to collect Heart Followers. The more Heart Followers a Star Rando has determines their power and economic status. Star Randos must be very careful to have their brand be completely recognizably "original", or face lethal repercussions from rival Stars who would accuse them of "copying." Stars can have romantic partnerships with other Stars (a "starfriend"), and also are considered having some kind of quasi-para-social relationship with all their Hearts. Star Randos have a 7-letter name, divided by a asterisk or star emoji after 3 letters. (Ex: Xxx*Xxxx)

Heart Randos are 25x more common than Star Randos. Heart Randos must obsessively follow a Star Rando's life-style brand. A Heart Rando can choose their Star, and switch Stars during their lifetime, but the decision to switch is not taken lightly by Hearts. Heart Randos are not supposed to have original ideas or romantic relationships- all their actions and social needs should be fulfilled by their dedication to a Star. Heart Randos have 4-letter names, but preface their name with the first 3-letters of their chosen Star in formal settings. (Ex: Xxx<3Yyyy)

Their society is lead by the most popular Star, whose brand is destroying those who defy the strict Heart / Star system.

When a mature Rando laughs heartily, their puffs release tiny spores. Spores grow into large tree-sized mushrooms, that release Rando children about 1,000 years later in "crops." (Their society will tell you that Heart Rando's spores are sterile, and there's not enough record keeping to disprove this.)

Upon achieving God Tier, a Rando would gain a longer chain of puffs!

WOOO YEAHGH.... saw this base on @deepseaspriteblog (who also sprited the dreamer outfits, sorry i forgot to include that on the image!) for the cyclops species by @lucheek and i really wanted to make one.... and was attacked by the Pink Fever. sorgy. planning to take the general notes of this design and apply it to other species (fantroll, fankid and cherubs r def on the planner but if there's ever a lets make a rando guide which is another species by that same creator i will be THERE!!) hence why i made it a rogue of space. i saw somebody describe rogues as "one who shatters their aspect and distrubutes it among other players" n i thought that'd be a fun class for what will esentially be a multi-universe character.

i hope this Girlthing meets the species standards! i didnt see anything abt naming conventions or dreaming moons or symbols or anything so i looked at the few other cyclops designs i could find and tried to work off of that. id love to know if this breaks any species conventions even if it isnt a Sin bc i enjoy designing my characters as closely to the spoken/unspoken rules of a species as possible. my fantrolls will NEVER have eyebrows!!!!!!!! nevaaa /j sorry if this is formatted awkwardly or does not meet tumblr-etiquette standards (am i supposed to tag artists on these posts? or only credit them by name? or tag some sideblog? argghghh) i literally have not a clue on how to use this website. im learning. be patient with me...

I don't actually have a naming convention planned for the Cyclops yet, though I'd like to make one when I have an idea for it! Symbols, Moons and other SBurb conventions I think would be the same for any standard SBurb game (if they're in a standard session- goodness know I like to make weird sessions and alternative games.)

Let's Make a CYCLOPS!

Cyclops are bio-mechanical, with some flesh and some metal. All other "creatures" on their planet are purely mechanical. They have alarm clock heads, and black oil-like blood. When a Cyclops becomes startled, extremely happy or angry, their hammer pounds the bells to make a loud noise. "Ringing" is considered embarrassing to do in public.

At night, they plug into a planet-wide power grid to charge instead of sleeping. However, the planet is running out of charge, and the Cyclops are chronically tired, and overworked.

Their society is ruled by micro-transactions and "Gachapon" machines instead of stores. The Gachapon machines are ancient, and how they function is lost to the Cyclops. The machines take the place of a governing body.

New Cyclops Children are a very rare item drop that have a chance of dropping from any machine- which is generally considered the worst possible luck a Cyclops could have.

When a Cyclops dies, their corpse is scrapped in a heap and doesn't rot. The overpopulation of Cyclops mean that most buildings are built upward, on top of corpse-heaps.

Upon achieving God-Tier, Cyclops gain a wind-up key that can charge them with unlimited energy!

Oh my, I almost forgot- I actually made a Rose cyclops! This was the base I was the most nervous about so I used Rose as my tester to see if it works well and it does.

Moots have a society based around musical theatre- the spirit of the Old Razzle Dazzle (sometimes also referred to as the Old Song and Dance) teaches them the choreography and lyrics on the fly. There is both a "dark" and "light" side of this force, that wax and wane in most individuals.

They have intense psychic powers that are charged by emotion. The exact power, and the exact emotion that charges it, varies from Moot to Moot. Every Moot has a power and a feeding emotion, but they sometimes take a while to discover.

At any given time, there are two opposing leaders- the Swanverign (avatar of the Light Side of the Razzle Dazzle), and the Black Swanverign (avatar of the Dark Side of the Razzle Dazzle.) Whenever either Swanverign dies, they release a psychic "Swan Song" that kills the other immediately. Their society is a highly, highly dramatic, chaotic, and explosively emotional. In Moot Court, a "Crime of Passion" is a valid legal defense.

Moots are born from eggs, which are always laid in groups of eight siblings. The eggs hatch when the baby Moot inside is able to resonate a sung note with their eggshell to crack it. The note that breaks their egg becomes part of their name- which consists of three letters followed by the note. (Xxx'Do, Xxx'Re, Xxx'So...)

They can have blue and/or black hair, and possess bright red blood.

Moot's "Strife Specibi" are always able to double as instruments.

Once achieving god-tier, Moots gain extra eyes on their feather-frilled ears.

Vriska Serket as a "Faun."

Fauns (as a Homestuck fan-alien) are something I made over a year ago, but never had a lot of ideas for as a species...until now.

Faun Facts: They are technically immortal beings who only die if their flames go out. Flames can be shared between fauns, re-building and re-igniting them, so as long as two fauns exist, they should never die.

Sharing flame is an incredibly personal act, however, and also causes the faun to take on aspects of the faun they shared flames with (kind of like a little more abstract/vague version of Steven Universe's Gem Fusion.) So even if you live forever, you're never the same faun more than once.....
