Trump says Donald Trump Jr. is such a nice young man and he praised him for his transparency in Tweeting the email string about colluding with a Kremlin connected lawyer after he got caught and minutes before New York Times had planned to release them after notifying the Trump Jr group of their intention of doing so. Trump Jr. says he’s more than willing to cooperate and be transparent about the whole thing.

The June 9, 2016 meeting between Trump Jr. and  Natalia Veselnitskaya, a Russian lawyer and her translator was also joined, at Don Jr’s invite, by Trump’s son-in-law and trusted aide Jared Kushner, former Trump campaign strategist, then campaign manager and known pro-Putin lobbyist Paul Manafort who had to resign once he was found out. After being transparent and saying “that’s all, that’s it” it was found out there were 1, 2, now 3 additional participants for a current total of 8. Will there be a 9?, a 10? Will ‘gold finger’ himself be implicated?

And now the latest Breaking News from Washington Post:  Trump had undisclosed hour-long meeting with Putin at G-20 summit

A nonprofit watchdog expanded a lawsuit accusing U.S. President Donald Trump of violating the Constitution by letting his hotels and restaurants accept payments from foreign governments.

The amended complaint filed on Tuesday in the U.S. District Court in Manhattan adds a restaurant trade group, whose members include nationally known chefs Tom Colicchio and Alice Waters, and a hotel events booker in Washington, D.C. as plaintiffs.

It is intended to address concern over whether the watchdog, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, was itself harmed by Trump and had standing to sue at all.

Trump is expected to respond by April 21, and had said the original lawsuit filed on Jan. 23 had no merit.

Spokesmen for the U.S. Department of Justice did not immediately respond to requests for comment on Tuesday.

The amended complaint said Trump violates the Constitution’s “emoluments” clause, which bars him from accepting various gifts from foreign governments without congressional approval, by maintaining ownership over his business empire despite ceding day-to-day control to his sons, Eric and Donald Jr.

President Donald Trump’s conflicts of interest manifested themselves in two very notable ways during this week’s news cycle.

1. Trump’s trust is essentially meaningless

Sean Spicer denounced ProPublica as a “left-wing blog” when it revealed that Trump is now able to withdraw money from his businesses at any time without notifying the public. This reinforces a simple and obvious point: The only certain way to see if and how much Trump is continuing to profit from his businesses would be to release his tax returns.

2. Trump’s meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping at his Mar-a-Lago resort is a perfect ad for his “Winter White House”

The point has been raised before, but it cannot be said enough. It is deeply un-kosher that President Trump keeps arranging for high-profile events to be held at his Mar-a-Lago resort. Turning the business into a “Winter White House” means that, even as Trump discusses crucial questions impacting America’s bilateral relationship with China, he will also be effectively plugging his business by keeping its name in the headlines. Trump will also need to be careful that he doesn’t allow his comfort with the resort to jeopardize proper diplomatic protocol. As David Wade, who served as chief of staff to Secretary of State John Kerry, told Politico, “There’s typically a suspicion among the Chinese delegation that Westerners can use a spontaneous one-on-one walk or pull-aside as a gambit to gain some advantage and veer off script. You have to build trust first. Otherwise American-style spontaneity breaks a lot of crystal glasses instead of breaking the ice.”

3. Trump International Hotel gets a glowing public review from a foreign ambassador

Lest you think this is an isolated incident, remember that Trump allegedly pressured the Kuwaiti Embassy to move a party to its D.C. hotel back in December. If nothing else, Trump’s unwillingness to divest from his various conflicts of interest has sent a signal that it makes more sense to stay on his good side by cozying up to his businesses.

Even though he’s a pretend president.
