In a last ditch effort of desperation, Karen Handel, Republican candidate for Georgia’s 6th Congressional District, turns to a dark state alt-right publication with ties to Steve Bannon that caters to neo-Nazis, KKK, and white supremacists. They are known for their ultra conservative views and fake news. They have lost 90% of their advertisers in a 2 month period according to this Washington Post article.

Handel is opposed by Democrat Jon Ossoff. Ossoff supports a livable minimum wage while Handel has said “I do not support a liveable wage”. Ossoff has been running a campaign mainly on promoting fair wages with protections for business , economic development, education, protecting consumers our environment and healthcare, voting rights and what is important to Georgia and the district he will be representing. Handel has been a leader in voter suppression tactics according to Better Georgia.

Ossoff has inspired a grass roots movement across the nation showing he has wide support not only for his policies that will benefit Georgia and his district, but also his stand against the oppressive and deceitful policies of the current administration, cabinet and the Republican Party. Handel has raised a lower amount of funds, originally mainly from local donations but her campaign has seen an influx of dark money from GOP Super PACS who have been running misleading and negative ads, the same types as those started by the Russian state run propaganda outlets and carried on by the Republican propaganda machine in the 2016 General and down ticket elections like the Paul Ryan Super PAC that used Russian hacked information that was altered. A pro-Trump non-profit political activist group has even been using altered sound bites from President Obama in negative radio ads. The current dweller of the White House has also been Tweeting untruthful statements against Ossoff.

#Ossoff stands for fair taxes for everyone and a bi-partisan healthcare plan. Handel supports Trump’s plan to drastically cut taxes for the wealthiest Americans which is how he can justify gutting our State Department, cutting consumer protections, cutting out environmental protections and gutting healthcare for women and children, the elderly, the low income Americans, and those on Medicaid which includes many of our Veterans. Handel supports the AHCA which so far has been a “failed before it even started” disaster. Trump even called the RyanCare House version of TrumpCare “mean” after saying how great it was. Now the “dirty dozen plus 1″ GOP Senate McConnell pack of jackals is trying to slap together another version and try to weasel it through without review and hearings. Handel supports repealing the ACA which will take healthcare away from millions of Americans.
