Georgia voters have an opportunity to help prevent this if they #FlipThe6th district vote today and #votejon #ossoff and reject Trump and the Republican controlled Congress.
Who believes Trump’s tax plan will include tax breaks for the working class? I do. But, the little bit you will save will be miniscule compared to the tax breaks for the already filthy rich and big business, and you will pay more in the end than what savings you will receive in tax relief.
For comparison, your savings will be like Donald’s fingers compared to King Kong’s fingers which would be the tax breaks for the wealthy. Also, due to the enormous tax cuts for the wealthy, which means less money for the Federal budget, they have to make up for it somewhere else. That is why there are cuts or planned cuts to the Environmental Protection Agency, Endowments for the Arts and Humanities, Meals on Wheels, Public Broadcasting, First Time Home Buyers credit, Department of Housing and Urban Development, Dept. of Transportation, Dept. of Health and Human Services, Dept. of Education, Commerce Dept., Dept. of Interior, Department of Labor, Dept. of Agriculture, and many, many programs for small business, disabled, and low income earners, healthcare for women and low income young people provided by Planned Parenthood, and healthcare for everyone under #TrumpCare.
All these cuts are smaller than Trump’s proposed cost increases for Defense, his stupid wall, Law Enforcement, Veteran’s Programs, and his proposed infrastructure plans. I don’t refute increases to defense, law enforcement, Veteran’s programs, or infrastructure. Hillary Clinton had the same plans but hers wouldn’t be paid by you. Oh, but I said I agreed that Trump may cut our taxes too right? Sure, but he will get it back from us two fold in other increases that we will have to pay so in the end, we will actually be getting it in the end. With the cuts to the incoming revenue from those in the $200,000 plus income range, the more they make the bigger the cut (those who actually pay in, unlike Trump), there has to be some other means of raising revenue. If there is a border adjustment tax businesses will pay more for imported materials and parts needed to produce domestic products, and those cost increases will be passed on to you. Whole products that have a border adjustment tax levied against them will be paid by you as a higher price than you now pay.
The best tax plan would not even involve any tax increases to anybody. The best tax plan is to ensure everyone pays their fair share of taxes instead of the most wealthy and the most successfull and biggest corporations paying 0, like Trump and GE.
Those who are currently in the 10% tax bracket will be in the 12% tax bracket under both the GOP House and the Trump tax proposals, so an increase in taxes for the lowest income earners.
Both Trump and the GOP will tell you that lowering the income taxes on the top wage earners and big corporations will result in higher wages and increased hiring, and the benefits will trickle down to the lower working class families. You may have heard of the “trickle down theory” before or “trickle down economics” that were part of President Ronald Reagan’s economics plan. It was later called “Voodoo Economics” by President George H. W. Bush because Reagan’s tax plan during his first term in office put our country into the biggest recession since the Great Depression of the 1930s. We didn’t recover from that until the Bill Clinton Presidency, and then George W. Bush took us back into the hole of debt with his failed economics plan and the Iraq war. It has taken us 7 years under the Obama administration, year by year, to recover from the Bush era recession. Many economists say that the Trump - GOP tax/budget plans will put us farther in the hole than we were under Reagan or Bush 2, despite their lies to the contrary. The GOP and Trump have an aversion to the truth.
Georgia’s 6th Congressional District have an opportunity to attempt preventing a Trump/GOP recession by rejecting the Trump backing Republican candidates in Georgia’s 6th district and by voting for Jon Ossoff. #GA6th . Make this your TuesdayMotivation, you won’t hear this of FoxAndFriends or FOX News
