Those pushing anti-vaxxing, anti-masking, anti-social distancing are primarily on the right; Republican politicians, right wing pundits, talking heads and propagandists, conspiracy theorists and biters of the forbidden fruit. A good deal of those who are convincing the public, primarily Republican voters, to resist getting vaccinated and fighting all public safety measures are themselves vaccinated and/or must get mandated testing and follow masking and other requirements in their places of employment.
It is no secret that the Republican party, local, state and on the federal level, are working diligently to not only suppress the vote, disenfranchise many voting groups, gerrymander voting districts so they are guaranteed to win in elections, but they are also trying to ensure they can seize power and keep it by enacting laws that will give them a legal right to throw out, change, or decertify any election results that are not in their favor. In other words they will try to steal elections, which is the same thing Trump and the trump-Republicans have been trying to do since the 2020 election. And they set their narratives up far in advance of the election to condition the easily manipulated into believing if they had lost that it would be rigged.
If the Republicans are successful in their fascist takeover attempt then they will no longer have any use for their voting base. They will simply declare themselves the winners always, to hold on to power indefinitely. Democracy will be dead. Once they have perpetual power they will then put restrictions on those very people they used to get them into the position of power, the pawns. Government will be for and controlled by the elites, mega corporations and the highfalutin fleecers of the flocks. In my opinion, that is why they are trying to eliminate as many of their voting base as possible by manipulating them to ensure their greater risks of infection by the moronavirus-45. Dead people can’t vote, nor can they revolt.
