Lestat calls dibs on being next to Louis because “husband snuggle privileges”. he also likes to be in the centre because he has Issues about security whilst he sleeps. Armand is too small to be anywhere other than also in the middle, but he drew the short straw because Lestat’s hair should be classified as a weapon there’s just so much of it. Louis is just really happy that his boys are getting along, and Daniel is just delighted that he’s even allowed to join in with this :.)

The Vampire Chronicles Is Actually A Harem Anime
In which @anton-mordrid and I realize a terrible truth. Behold:
- The withdrawn, dark-haired protagonist whom everyone is attracted to even though he wants nothing to do with any of this (Louis)
- Nonetheless, he’s too passive to either choose someone OR tell them to get lost
- People keep moving into his house/following him without his permission
- The magical first love interest who’s the clear frontrunner for the entire series (Lestat)
- The Little Sister (daughter) who covets the main’s attention and tries to drive everyone else off (Claudia)
- The actual sibling the protag won’t stop talking about until frankly you start getting kind of alarmed about it (Paul)
- The “please notice me senpai” bookworm (Daniel)
- The yandere who’s sweetness and light to the protag and literally murderous to rivals (Armand)
- The creepily involved teacher/mentor who’s not technically part of the harem but very INTERESTED in the protag (Marius)
- Love interests fighting over protag is packaged with a weird element of sexual tension (Armand and Lestat)
- The two side characters who eventually pair off together to narrow the field (Daniel and Armand)
- The rando who comes out of nowhere to ensnare the protag’s heart through Clearly Evil Means, forcing the harem to band together (Merrick)
- That time the frontrunner was almost stolen by someone else, forcing the protag to at least hesitantly admit his feelings (Lestat and Akasha; or David, take your pick)
- A wedding keeps getting teased but won’t actually happen until the heat death of the universe
