Why did the snake talk to Eve and where was Adam when this was going on?
I like to think that the snake talked to Eve because it was a supporter of women's education.
Though when it was written it was probably because women were seen as weak and easily manipulated.
“I don’t believe in Jesus, I don’t believe in Zeus, I don’t believe in Allah, I think they have no use.
I don’t believe in Adam, I don’t believe in Eve, I don’t believe in talking snakes, I think it’s make believe.”

Has... Has he not read the Bible?
That’s not how that story goes.
The snake didn’t lie. GOD did.
God said that if Eve & Adam ate the fruit of knowledge they would die.
The snake said that
- Eve and Adam would not die if they ate from the forbidden fruit
- The consequence of eating the fruit of knowledge would be that they would gain knowledge God wanted to hoard for himself.
And what happened when Eve and Adam ate the fruit of knowledge?
- They didn’t die.
- The consequence of eating the fruit of knowledge was that they gained knowledge God wanted to hoard for himself.
