The woman at Build-A-Bear asked how soft I'd like Jigglypuff. I told her I wanted as much stuffing as she was physically able to get in. She must have had her foot on the pedal for 5 solid minutes. Now he looks like a bowling ball and feels just as solid, and he is so round that he doesn't sit properly; just kinda rolls around unless he's propped up. I love him. He's the best.
Shaved down the pegs of the C set Azone hands, and the match is pretty great! The colour is touch lighter and they're a bit smaller then the originals, but I'm very happy with how they look. When I eventually get around to making her school uniform I can now swap out the gloved hands for regular ones! Luckily I can remove every part of her outfit so changing clothes will be easy, but I'll have to figure out what to do with the heeled shoes and socks because I can't get them off (I haven't tried much tbh, I don't want to risk breaking the joints!)
Christmas presents to myself!
Here's the rest of the Christmas-Presents-To-Myself haul! I'm rather tempted to make a review/haul video when they arrive? 'Cause why not! :3 The tshirts, dress-skirt and leggings are a bit of a different style for me but something I'm really hoping to get into. I love the 'aesthetic' look, so fingers crossed it actually look flattering on me! The petticoat has great reviews and it was cheap regardless, so doesn't matter if it isn't super fluffy or deflates. And those false nails reminded me of Sailor Moon so I needed to buy them. I can't wait for everything to arrive!
*grabby hands*
Better picture of my cosplay lenses :3
Contact lenses before and after!
These were rather cheap lenses from one of those gothic stores in town (ya'no the kind I’m taking about; inside always stinks of cheap incense, they sell tacky body jewellery, neon dream catchers and black hoodies with weird wolf prints…) so I wasn’t expecting great things but they were an adequate pair to try out circle lenses for the first time!
These lenses are for my Madoka cosplay :3 At first I didn’t know if I’d like them or whether they’d be suitable for the character because they look a bit... spooky. However because I have to wear glasses the lenses are really bold and definitely show through heavy makeup and the glasses.
Finally managed to put my contacts in and I now look like a spoopy anime protag
Bought some contacts for my Madoka cosplay and realised they match my handbag 🎀
I'm definitely going to look like a magical mermaid princess in these new glasses~
