i feel so bad for nikola tesla like imagine spending years beefing with a guy who has conned the public into believing he's some sort of supergenius when in reality it's his overworked employees developing all of his world-changing inventions and you end up dying broke and starving and alone and then 200 years later another guy cons the public into believing he's some sort of supergenius when in reality it's his overworked employees developing all of his world-changing inventions and he's doing it all IN YOUR NAME. he must be rolling in his grave like a fucking rotisserie chicken

I was lucky enough to attend the Rings of Power FYC Event as my dear friend, Kelly Lynne D’Angelo’s plus one! It was amazing getting to see the sixth episode on the big screen, a Q&A with some cast and crew, as well as some of the gorgeous costumes in real life! I also had the honor of telling Ismael Cruz Cordova how important it was to me to see an elf played by a PoC in the Tolkien universe. Pretty sure I called him a trail blazer, but honestly I was so nervous I don’t remember everything either of us said.
I leave the house ~sometimes~
being an adult = saying things like "i have dnd tonight so i HAVE to take a nap this afternoon or i WILL be cranky"
Concept: You are draped across moss pillows. Fairies have braided and twined your hair with wildflowers. The air smells like damp earth and honey suckle. You feel pleasantly warm, a little drowsy perhaps.
The setting sun casts its last glowing rays through the trees; light and shadows dance across your face. The wind lovingly rustles the leaves of the canopy above. Far off in the distance you can hear a harp and flutes being played ever so gently.
You find you are smiling; you are safe here. Nothing can harm you here
