so two years ago I drew a few of my friends as demonslayer characters and I recently found the drawings and they were so bad I decided to redraw them
so first of all here’s me as a demonslayer character (these are not age accurate btw)

a little information about my demonslayer persona:
- Along with Kanao, she is the tsuguko of Shinobu and is learning Insect Breathing from her
- Like Shinobu, she’s smart but doesn’t possess any physical strength that would help her take a demon’s head off
- Her elder brother is a Kinoe slayer who uses Water Breathing. She originally wanted to learn water as well, but didn’t have the talent for it so instead she was sent to the Butterly Mansion.
- She completed her training within a year and a half and passed the Final Selection the month after.
- Friends with Kanao and Aoi
- Isn’t fond of the Snake Pillar or Zenitsu

“Why were the Hashira running so slowly when the mansion exploded?”
they were following their crows. No one knows where the mansion is. Yes, they’ve had several meetings there before, but every time they are summoned they get transported by the kakushi with earplugs and nose plugs so that they’re unable to trace back to the mansion. It’s very simple once you think about it.
to set the record straight:
tomioka and sanemi both die at 25 because of the mark. its unknown if tanjiro passed as well. they all got married before 25 (kanao x tanjiro, idk about sanemi and tomioka) and had at least one child that went on to have more children. in chapter 205 of KNY, it shows descendants of sanemi and tomioka, which means they both got married to a woman and had a child before they died (which means, tomioka and sanemi were not gay).
its kinda stupid how I see people talking about how they couldn't have children because they die at 25 💀like bro sanemi and tomioka are 21, they had plenty of time to find wives and have children.

ok so he's not the BEST main character but he isn't a bad one either. a bunch of people are like ohhh he's so sentimental and he cares too much about demons yada yada yada he cares more about a man he just met than his dead family
first of all, when he first found his family murdered, he didn't have time to grieve because nezuko was still alive and he wanted to save her. he hadn't known that she was going to turn into a demon when he had first found her, so it was his biggest priority getting her to a doctor.
and yeah, he cares about demons and sympathizes with them, but he still kills them because he knows its for the better. his way of giving mercy is giving demons who accept their fate painless deaths. his rage, however, for demons like akaza or muzan are unmatched and he really doesn't gaf about their story he just wants to kill them because they took people that were important to him from him.
tanjiro isn't like deku or emma - he doesn't try to find a loophole to save the villain. his goal isn't like deku's either - he isn't trying to become the strongest or defeat muzan, his number one goal is to turn nezuko back into a human. he just takes quite a few side quests on his mission. he knows that if demons that eat humans are left alive, then they will keep making lives miserable for families, which is why he kills them. if it was deku or emma they would've tried to find a way to peacefully live in harmony with demons 🤓
tanjiro is kind, caring, and sympathetic, but he isn't a cute innocent fluffy baby that needs to be cared for. he's the perfect mix of a protagonist with a kind but strict heart (like a mother). he isn't focused on trying to rewrite the system so that all demons can live happily. he knows that nezuko is different from the other demons because she doesn't eat humans, which is why he's only trying to rewrite the system for her.
so yeah tanjiro isn't a bad mc. he's far from being the best, but he's a good one. An example of a bad mc would be deku or takemichi (i have a burning hate for both of them sorry not sorry) perhaps if tanjiro was in a story with a better plot, his actions could have been represented more clearly, but that isn't the case.

i miss the days when me and my older brother would watch demonslayer and agree to skip over the bloody scenes and agree to split the money when we had to pay to watch a mha movie and every friday we would take turns reminding each other that the new mha chapter was out and when we were on road trips we would make match up the characters in class 1-a and argue about who would win...those were the days

tanjiro kamado - mha x kny

quirk: hinokami kagura - by performing a series of dances, tanjiro can build up physical power. there were only twelve known dances, but tanjiro managed to unlock the thirteenth one. each dance has a different name. dance is the first dance, and by performing it, tanjiro’s physical power only goes up a little bit. In order to get stronger by using the dances, he must connect the dances together. at the current moment, he is only able to connect the first three. once he manages to connect all of them, his power will ultimately be on the same level as all might. he can also convert the strength into objects, like his sword. the scar on his forehead also gets bigger as he starts dancing. drawbacks include exhaustion, lightheadedness, internal bleeding, and nausea.
tanjiro is one of the students that entered U.A. late. he was unable to attend due to some difficulties involving the passing of his father. he first started attending at the same time as kanao tsuyuri, after the USJ accident.
his family runs a decently popular bakery. however, they are a family of seven and it is quite hard for kie to support the family on her own. this is why tanjiro decided to become a hero.
the kamados are family friends with the no. 21 hero, tomioka. tomioka helps financially support them, as does the retired hero, urokodaki.
the quirk hinokami kagura is a quirk that has been passed down for generations in the kamado family. tanjiro inherited his quirk from his father, as did his younger brother takeo. however, takeo has no intention of becoming a hero. all his other siblings other than nezuko inherited their quirks from kie.
he is friends with zenitsu and inosuke, who are exchange students in class 1-b. they often come over to his bakery (to see nezuko).

i was way too lazy to draw all the flowers on her dress, but yes, those are real flowers on her dress. this is her hero costume in the MHA x KNY book i'm planning to make.

she has an extremely strong quirk, and received over a thousand offers from agencies after the sports festival. this is also because she was already famous due to being shinobu and kanae's younger sister.
